Is the a dipswitch setting that may have been changed? Pressing the diagnostic buttons in the coin door do nothing.

What game ?

If Williams, check the CPU for battery damage, it gets the diagnostic stuff first.

Coin door needs to be open.

It's a blackout, coin door is open

Any wires broken off of the diagnostic switches or the memory protect switch?

Any wires broken at the coin door connector?

I had a bad diagnostic switch on my High Speed. I ended up just shorting the leads with a flat head screw driver. Got the job done but not a permanent solution.

I don't see any broken wires at the coin door. No battery corrosion that I can see.

Toggle switch set to auto up. And push advance button.

If it doesn't work.....

Also check if any of the wires are pinched/broken in the bundle by the coindoor hinge.

If not, check the switch with a multimeter on buzz continuity.

See if it actually works/ closed when pushed. Check switch with the multimeter with the machine off.

And not exactly your problem but it might help troubleshoot
