Can't get my GQ-4X programmer working. Had it working fine in an old laptop running XP. That laptop died, got a new one with windows 10, and I have a desktop with windows 7. Cant get it to work in either one. Driver seems to have installed fine in desktop with Windows 7, but it still wont work - just says "Demo Mode" - and when I go to detect hardware I get "Cannot detect hardware".
Tech support is Non-existent.
Any help is appreciated.
Make sure you download the GQ-4X driver, rather than the GQ-4x4 driver--they are different devices.

Support requests are usually responded to in a day or two.
I have not used mine in a while but remember having difficulty at first getting it to work. I believe I had to update the USB drivers for the device to be found.

Thanks Forceflow, you rock! I was hung up on this same thing, didn't notice the subtle difference between 4x and 4x4.
