My daughter and I had the chance to play a bunch of machines over the weekend at a friend's house. I was surprised her favorite was Batman Forever. When I asked her why she said she loved shooting the ball out of the cannon. I told her a lot of machines have cannons and now she is excited to get one that does.

My question is, what machines have cannon(s) to shoot? I tired searching the forums but it was really hard to find any info and I couldn't find any way to search the machine database by feature.

    So far I know of:

    T2
    AC/DC
    Star Trek: Next Generation
    Batman Forever
    Dirty Harry
    Big Guns

I know there must be more I'm not thinking of or don't know about. Anyone help?

Lol, showing my age here, but when I first saw the topic, I thought of the old detective show "Cannon". Lol. Right after Barnaby Jones and Night Stalker.

An advanced search on IPDB Notable Features: Ball cannon gets 28 hits. Notable omissions above include T3, CV and JJP POTC. I love that my hobby includes cannons.

Why does Dirty Harry not count as a cannon?
And where on earth is the cannon in TWD??

In the apron on prem/ LE’s, same place as Austin powers

I wouldn't think so. If you include Houdini, then you include Aerosmith. They are more catapalts, than canons.

I would include Sega Star Wars Trilogy to the list, though. I also agree that DH should be on the list.

It’s actually a crossbow. It’s on the apron of the premium/LE.

    https://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?ft=Ball+cannon&sortby=name&searchtype=advanced

You searched in Notable Features for this:

    ball cannon

which got you 28 listings, each with the word "ball" and the word "cannon" shown anywhere in the Notable Features section. Not necessarily next to each other.

    If you had searched for:

    cannon

you would have pulled up 33 listings, which included T3, CV and JJP POTC. Those five listings did not happen to have the word "ball" in their Notable Features section.

    https://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?ft=cannon&sortby=name&searchtype=advanced

If you ever want to search for a phrase, include a dot between the words, such as:

    ball.cannon

    or

    last.ball.in.play

If you omit the dot(s) you'll get only listings that have those words anywhere in the data field you searched.
