Quoted from Mpluff:Thanks, I’ll be joining the club for sure!
What do you recommend for a cleaner on the playfield? I’m guessing I shouldn’t use novus? I don’t want to ruin the artwork.
Definitely no Novus!
91% rubbing alcohol or vm&p naphtha with a soft cotton cloth. Those will clean well and evaporate quickly, so there's no damage to the wood. Get a respirator or mask if using naphtha.
Quoted from thirdedition:I would steer clear of the magic eraser, in my mind that is way more abrasive than novus 2. I've waxed our prewar pins and would highly recommend it.
Avoid Magic Eraser - it's basically sandpaper.
I recommend carnuba paste wax for all playfields.
