My first time with RSO/Phoenix Tears. Any of you guys had it? The stuff is no joke... Proceed with caution. Talk about bang for buck though $22 for 1ml.

Yeah I have a low tolerance but Jesus that stuff got me. On Monday night I came home from work, had some of the Purple God before my workout then after my workout had a 20mg candy and 0.05ml of the RSO maybe at 8pm. Went to bed an hour or two after to recover from the weekend and didn't really feel much, woke up feeling tired and relaxed. All good, business as usual.

Tuesday night I had 0.1ml just on its own with nothing else. This was at maybe 7pm. By 830-9 I hadn't felt anything. I told myself that I could get into the grapefruit soda and South Park at 10pm if I still didn't feel anything. By 930 I had to go to bed immediately because this stuff was taking me to the moon. I laid in bed for probably 2 hours way gone. Uncomfortably so. Went to look in the mirror at 1am and it looked like someone pepper sprayed my eyes. Woke up at 6 to go to work and my eyes were still super blood shot and I was out of it.

Doing the math at 0.1ml should be right around 51mg so I'm not sure what the hell happened. Either the other stuff I've had is under what the label says or this is substantially more potent. Even at $20 for 1ml if 0.1 gets me that good then wow. Hard to justify spending on other stuff.

Up on the chopping block this weekend we have Grapefruit Soda (already know it's great), Bruce Banner, and Girl Scout Cookies. I've been waiting to open this package up. Woohoo let's set some high scores!

New toy yesterday, first vape. Pretty excited about it.

Yeah I'm not sure how it'll do because I haven't put it through the paces considering I just got it yesterday. I'm sure it'll be a few weeks or months before I can form a proper opinion on it. This is the newer pax 3 and seems to get pretty great reviews online. I'm pretty sure with the new smart phone app you can set exact temps and a bunch of other fancy things. Compared to volcano they are just serving two different markets. For portable vapes in the couple hundred dollar range for flower and concentrate I'm hoping it's a good buy. I got it NIB for $270 CAD (retail is around 350+tax here). The others in that same area I was considering were arizer air, Firefly, crafty, etc. All of which didn't have exactly what I wanted. One thing I wish pax had was removable battery for longer camping trips, I'll probably just pick up a battery bank though if I need it.

Only one way to find out if it's any good.... I better go do some product testing .

From what I've seen it looks like a lot of people around here with their script just go through the various MOMs for that reason (amongst others). That's how I do it anyway so never bothered with script. Can't say myself because never used an LP but supposedly better prices, selection, and quality with the MOMs. Competition is a beautiful thing. You never get locked into a provider and can pick up deals and sales as they show up. Street dealers can't compete with the selection of 50+ stores that I can browse from the comfort of my computer chair.

Almost all are based out of BC, none in my experience have any taxes. You have to shop around and pick up sales and deals with coupons etc when they are available. A lot of the owners or spokespeople are active on Reddit. I've found that to be the best resource (i can send specific links if you need). As far as pricing it just depends what you are looking for. Concentrates, edibles, flowers, etc. One week it might make sense to shop at one but the next week a different one. On a regular basis some are selling low grade popcorn nugs @ $80-100/oz, others are selling high grade @ $300+/oz and everything in between so obviously huge variety both in quality and price. There are easily 50+ sites so it's best to read reviews and watch for sales specific to what you are looking to grab. As far as writing it off, that's out of my scope of knowledge. You do normally get receipts through both email and paper. When it comes to actually claiming it though I wouldn't have a clue.

Be sure to save your AVB for easy edibles. I made a cosmic yogurt with AVB the other night that did me in for hours.

Nice! So far I've only had the death bubba a handful of times and while laying in bed. It's kind of hard to properly judge the effects when it knocks me out within a couple minutes. Then again that's why I got that one so it gets a big thumbs up from me.

Hey Brad if you are concerned about getting high THC % have you thought about just getting some distillate and adding that in? Single grams of distillate are $35 for 95% THC (950mgs/gram). You can add it in your vape, eat it, smoke it, etc. I like up sandwich it in my vape with flower. Only downside is your tolerance goes way through the roof quickly.

If I end up going this year we can for sure. Last year I didn't make it out. I'll have to see what I'm up to that weekend.

Edit: just saw its Sept 16th, I'm doing a Bachelor party that weekend so won't be around.

Going to a bachelor party next weekend and didn't want to break the bank passing around joints that never make their way back to me so decided to grab a bit of schwag weed. Picked up some OG Kush for just under $100 oz and I can't lie it ain't half bad for the price. Bad trim job, not the most potent smell or greatest taste but my research confirms it gets you high . If this is what low grade brings these days I think we are all going to be doing just fine

It would be interesting to see some tests done. Maybe they have been done already? The temperature of smoke from the burning end you are pulling through the joint should be high enough to vaporize THC. In theory you have a great big old joint and the first few hauls would have substantially more THC than the remainder that's closer to your mouth. I can just imagine how disgusting the bottom of that joint would taste with its potentially THC-less burnt ass weed.

Fair enough, great loss, but take that to the tragically hip club... This is the cannabis club and the fact that most recreational users in Canada are no longer criminals as of today is definitely cause for celebration!
