Happy 420 y'all. Some great specials out there already. I got 10% off at bulkbuddy and the site I use for shatter has $420 ounces. I didn't need anymore bud but three different ounces of AAA strains for $278 after discounts is just too good of a deal to pass up.

Looking back it is hilarious thinking about him screaming at me as to "why I needed a whole lid?"
15 year old me didnt know wtf a lid was in old timey slang and it made for quite a fun yelling spell until he threw the weed on the counter and asked me if I was "selling the pot?"

Well to be honest a "lid" was not an oz. back in the day, they just looked as big as the oz's of your time. Oz's back then were regularly 32-34 grams.

Absolutely, that's why I said it was a giggle fest back then and in no way as potent as todays, even the Gold and the Columbian did not compare and those were 2 of the killer strains back then.
You can’t trust scales!
I was busted over 20 years ago with 7g of weed; Just weighed it a couple hours earlier. Went to court for it, but the police only reported that they found 5g. I doubt the police would lie. so the scale mush have been wrong.

About 1984 a drug lord in Sonora hired a dozen growers from Nor Cal and grew full blown Indica with Afghanistan seeds. Wholesaled for close to 1700 a pound. Could sell 100 pounds at a time for 2000, all day long till it was gone. People emptied out their lock boxes or didn't get any. Most people thought the best of this was better than the best thai weed which we all wholesaled every May when the boats got here. He probably grew 100,000 pounds the first year which isn't very much. It's funny because anyone who was wholesaling high end marijuana in my area would tell you this: great marijuana was being grown in Hawaii, Nor Cal, Oregon, Thailand etc. And was also grown in Mexico. And yes, they did grow alot of shitty weed. But they grew excellent weed as well.

Hell yes I don't doubt for a minute good pot was being grown in Mexico we just didn't get access to it very often. Shit pot is grown everywhere even some of the med pot isn't great.
Here’s why they’re called lids
The term came from the practice of breaking up a brick (a kilo or later a 'key') of tightly packed marijuana and storing and selling it in Price Albert tobacco cans. A can held approximately one ounce, the lid would hold approximately/8 oz. No one weighed it really, it was all done by eye.

Did time with a few boat captains who smuggled thai weed. But the best of the Mexican Indica was better than the thai stick and the untied thai. Just like it was way, way, way better than the sativa Rafael Caro Quintero grew and became famous for.
My last order came with a free 1/8th.
Edit. I only vape shatter, it will take me months to smoke that
