    Quoted from Saltimbanco:

Stepbro looking for a 1st pin on a 5500$ budget. I was thinking games such as T2 Judgment Day, World Cup Soccer, Road Show, Johnny Mnemonic.. Something not too, too chewed up. Thoughts, suggestions?
Or is this mission impossible at that price on our 'steamy' market, Lol

Keep your eyes open, and be ready to act quickly. There are still pins in that range from time to time

    #3902 1 year ago
    Quoted from Paseb:

Roadshow is more in the 7k and + territory.

    Lmao

I have a WCS coming in this weekend.
Selling it for a friend, full LED’s.

    #3904 1 year ago

Whats so funny. Try to find one for 5500$

Road show is 10x time better than the other pins listed.

One was listed in kijiji couple days ago for 7k. Sold within a days.

I sold a dirty harry for 8500$ and tftc for 9500$ In the last month.

    Get out of your basement.

    Quoted from northerndude:

May have to keep same mindset but look at a Sega of the exact same era, should hit it right on the head

I'll check those out as well, good idea!

    Quoted from Paseb:

There is a t2 in gatineau, have you seen it?

Yup! A bit chewed up, some stuff that worried me including some hacked LED wire rope on the ramps, etc. It was a pass for me!

    You sell games?? Lol

Well, you know where to find me Dan, but I'm on a budget!

    Lmfao

Way to price gouge someone. Both those games should be in the 5500 range.

    I love mine.

that T2 had a rough life, that was almost my first pin when I did not know better but this person bought it instead. Had it for 2 years and now selling it.
The seemed to be firm in price too as I was going to pick it up but not in the condition it is in and at that price. long laundry list of issues in the pf and cabinet.
It is rough and not worth that.

I'll add to potential games: Independence Day!

It was never cleaned, the glass was regular glass, missing a lock, translite scratched. Still had batteries inside, were never changed. The left side armour was banged up. Near the ball feed, the pf is deeply chewed up.. then, there's that ultra thin LED wire rope on the ramps, held up by scotch tape all along the edges.

    I felt bad for Arnold!!!

oh so you did go to see it, I saw it 2 years ago and almost bought it, it would have been my first pin and a disaster but the people in the community saved me from it and it ended up with another newbie then... It is good to keep track of the turds and stay away from them, lol, It was all working then but it was liptstick on pig.

there is a reason why it is not selling. lol

Pasebs tftc was really nice , likely realistically worth 7-8k so you’re both wrong . If you look at recent pinside sales nice examples have sold for 5,200 usd… not including your import tax and shipping

Must have lower taxes in SK. I come up with nearly $18k in QC and ON.

    Yup over $17k with tax.

I actually like the TS4 a lot but I can't justify that money.

That price for a "base model" is insane. I get charging extra for "bells and whistles" or powder coat, art blades and toppers but damn that is out of reach for even crazy people like myself. That 1 game would almost take up the majority of the value of my entire collection.

    #3926 1 year ago

Plus 495.00 us shipping on LE and 595.00 us shipping on CE

    #3927 1 year ago

Lol…. Why does the CE cost more to ship?!

More expensive so higher insurance on shipping?

If there was an SE for US$8000-9000 I would have probably bought it. Game looks really fun.

JJ is becoming more of a premium player now. Average pinhead can't afford their machines.

    JJP TS4 LE Ontario: $12,000USD + $500USD(shipping) x 1.13(tax) x 1.33 (exchange) = $18,786.25
    JJP TS4 LE Quebec: $12,000USD + $500USD(shipping) x 1.15(tax) x 1.33 (exchange) = $19,118.75
    JJP TS4 CE Ontario: $15,000USD + $600USD(shipping) x 1.13(tax) x 1.33 (exchange) = $23,445.24
    JJP TS4 CE Quebec: $15,000USD + $600USD(shipping) x 1.15(tax) x 1.33 (exchange) = $23,860.20

    Ouch

    #3931 1 year ago

Maybe they can only produce 10

So their plan is to only sell 7.

With Godzilla back on the lines at Stern (so it would appear), is anyone here getting theirs from P1 with this new batch? I don't know if P1 will be getting any more before the other scheduled July run, and I'd be curious to know.

My friend in NB is getting his from P1 in Montreal this week I think.

    #3935 1 year ago

NIB prices are pushing 90s BW up for sure now.

    #3936 1 year ago

I was contacted by P1 a couple weeks ago with final Canadian pricing to confirm if I would still be in for the GZ Prem I put down for last November - still haven't heard back to actually pay but based on the conversation I had I am expecting to be receiving one from this batch.

    #3937 1 year ago

It would seem like P1 is having a hard time getting shaker motors from Stern. Where are fellow Canadians getting theirs if not from the distros in-country?

I ordered one a while ago from Nitro while I was stockpiling all the things for the GZ I had no idea of the delivery date for, not sure what their stock looks like right now though. I haven't had any issue with them shipping things, even if it is all the way across the country.

Couple bugs to fix, but my buddy is almost finished with this one.
Pinsound, speakers kit, color dmd, boards checked over and plenty of small mods and stuff.

Does anyone have an up-to-date list of places I should be checking out in Vancouver?

I've referenced the map here but when I went to look up a few of the locations for more information I've started to see that many of the popular spots didn't survive the government-mandated shutdowns.

    TIA.

Any 4th of July sales on Pinside? Looked, other than Lit Frames I didn't find any..
