Too much of a beer snob. Craft all the way. But if you dig it, 40 cases is the way to go!!!

    Hey my fellow Canadians,
I didn’t want to sidetrack the what’s for sale thread, so am posting here. I haven’t ever really followed stern LE prices in Canada, so I was wondering, what stern LEs can be had for $9500 Canadian or less? Here’s the ones I know of, but I know I’m likely missing some:
    Transformers
    X-men
    Original stern avengers
    Black Spider-Man
    Avatar
AC/DC (this one I realize now isn’t right, I was thinking premium prices)
    Mustang
    Wwe wrestlemania

Also inline with this, how much do ghostbusters LEs tend to go for at this time?

How much do premiums roughly run these days after dollar conversion and taxes?

John's Jukes had one like maybe January or Feb for $7000ish I'm fairly sure. It was a Hulk LE sold now of course and I don't recall the condition or details but it's a data point.

Other than that, Avatar LE if you could find one might be in your price range. ACDC LE isn't in that price range but a premium would be.

Right around 10k. Stern website has them listed for $7699

    #2859 3 years ago

The first Avengers is such a horrible game, even tweaked and fixed. Ughh... If I go to hell, there will be Avengers in the corner on free play.

Star trek le or for sure a premium should be around that price range

STLE is over 10,000 if you can find one around us at all.

    #2864 3 years ago

Yeah an LE would be wishful thinking for under 10k it seems. I was thinking more likely for a premium since they are more readily available

Honestly, for the most part a premium is just a much better buy than an LE. STLE has a much nicer package though.

I was just wondering if anyone has a decent Xenon playfield kicking around. If so pm me. Thanks, Darrell

Is there a arcade thread or forum someone can recommend? I realize everything's getting crazy expensive so would like to know the values of a couple arcades at a auction tommorow.

    Thanks

    Arcade auction you say?

There are two Canadian arcade sites you should be in regular touch with:

https://cgcc.ca/forums/ (very seldom anything new here)

Just a local antiques and collectibles auction. Super Pacman has a $700 bid and Gorf is at $400. I'm bidding on other stuff and if I'm making a trip in my truck, might as well fill it up.

Hey Kelowna Pinsiders! Can anyone help me out?

A good buddy in Kelowna dug out his Pinbot and set it up. It boots, but won't start a game (missing ball). All balls are in the game. I'm sure whoever helps out would get a few beers out of giving him a hand. Shoot me a PM if you can help. Thanks!

Has anyone got confirmation for their GNRCE? I am still waiting to hear back. Seems like all the American distributors already know their allotments?

    #2885 3 years ago

yah, sounds like they were all sold directly from JJP themselves... super shitty for distributors and their customers.

    #2886 3 years ago

Its totally shitty. JJP just completely screwed themselves by not supplying their distributors their usual allotment, which, as you say, also screws their customers. I attempted to get a CE from my distributor the morning GnR was released, then was later told there were exceptionally few allotted for each distributor and i was out of luck. Shame on you JJP, it would definitely make me think twice about buying anything JJP in the future.

    #2887 3 years ago

Sounds like you can order directly from JJP but the amount must be paid in full from what I've read. Stops flippers from just putting 1k deposits down then selling their spots for more

Are there any pins at century casino in Calgary right now?

    #2891 3 years ago
    Quoted from Pinhead306:

Yes, there are 10 games on site there now, most of this list is correct I believe: https://pinside.com/pinball/map/where-to-play/13257-century-casino-calgary-calgary-ab

    #2892 3 years ago

My family went to century casino on a Saturday afternoon in August to check out the pinball collection. I remember seeing simpsons, jp, twilight zone, black knight and T2. Other than the couple of guys working at the bowling stand we were the only people in the whole place, which was nice from a safety point of view but sure felt weird....

    #2893 3 years ago

TSPP is back at home now, Elvis isn’t there anymore.
    Black Knight is gone too.

    #2894 3 years ago

Somebody updated Pinball Maps on Oct 9 so that should be complete.

    #2895 3 years ago

I’d like to make a trip up to Century Casino to play some pins once this second wave subsides.

What’s the fee for playing? Standard loonie/toonie per game or is there a day pass or anything like that?

I’ve got no options to try different pins here in Lethbridge so I’m willing to make the drive for a day trip.

Going by your user name you need to connect with Indusguys down in Lethbridge. You've might have even been in his shop

Well, you drive up to Calgary and sell me your Deadpool and then you take all the Loonies I give you and you play until you drop!!

Seriously though, all games are set on Coin Drop, go in and have fun!!

I had 3 games in my shop for the past 10 months, I made about $100 in that time, now they are sitting in the basement of my store, and I put socks where the games were. Already sold a couple thousand dollars worth of socks in 1 month! Most Lethbridge people are not ready for pinball, our city is typically 10 years behind most big city trends.

I will make a post if I decide to put any games back in the shop. I can't justify taking up valuable room if no one wants to play the games, if they were being played that would be a different story.

    #2899 3 years ago

That's cool you put some games in your shop. Too bad they didn't really get played. I wish my head shop back in the day had pins to play. The one on Whyte Ave had a foosball table that got lots of use
