You made the deal - circumstances beyond both of your control arose. It happens.
You either suck it up, or refund the cash..pretty simple.

The only time I sold "over the border" I regretted it, so I semi-sympathize...but your name is everything in this hobby and you are bellyaching at simply the wrong time.
If you spent the money before the game left your possession - bad move....sorry...but - dumb.
