About as long a shot as you can get, but I need the 0-9 unit out of a Gottlieb Northstar, actually just need the outer wiper disc, but would certainly take the entire unit. The wiper disc is unique to Northstar, so it has to be out of that game, no others will work.

Anyone put in a Marcos’s parts order lately. Just wondering if they are still offering a better shipping cost with orders over $250

#429 4 years ago
Quoted from nightsearcher:

A bunch of us just put in an order for over $600 USD, shipping was $70 USD, another $50 CAD for FedEx fees. We spoke to Marco directly in order to get the lower shipping rate.

If we went through the online shipping calculator it was going to be over $230 USD.

#430 4 years ago

I know, did an order last year and they gave me a great deal . Got to find that info again. Thanks for the help

#431 4 years ago

I will let you know how it goes - i have an order that was to be packed last week but i think Marco had some safety concerns and logistics shut down till after the weekend. I am supposed to get a call on Monday re shipping cost. As a side note i placed a similar sized order with Pinball life 2 weeks ago and they were great - only delay was once the items reached Canada - took twice as long to make the last few miles as to come from the USA.

Pinball Life was $60.00 shipping on $700.00 of stuff and i had a pile of coils so the box was not light, UPS global charged a $5.00 customs/brokers fee - then i had to pay HST. Still 6 times more to ship to Canada (excluding taxes) than compared to USA prices - just another hidden tax that us docile Canadians put up with.

I had several phone calls with Jennings at Marco and how their shipping is out to lunch - if i would ship to my Houston office it is $9.99, the first quote i had from Marco to ship to Canada was over $180.00 for a small box of light items with a retail value of $400.00

The best part about living close to the border is being able to use parcel depots. The shipping is so out of control crossing the border, its funny the parcel depot I use is probably less than 10km from my house. Shipping routinely goes from free to over a hundred and the time from days to weeks.

Yes normally it is quite convenient. I have 3 packages sitting down there with pinball parts...not going to be getting them anytime soon though.

Wade's Abra Ca Dabra playfield is amazing. I installed mine last year and it was an absolute breeze compared to the CPR and NOS playfields I have done in the past. All other the repro playfields I have (CPR and Mirco) have issues with colour matching, art accuracy, hole size, dimple placement etc. but the ACD was perfect. really it was. And the wooden shipping crate is really nice too

I don't have a job, but I have heard great things about pinmonks quiet fan mod

His screen name here is PinMonk

I've purchased from him before and he is amazing to deal with. Highly recommend reaching out to him.

Done and done

#450 3 years ago

Thanks Al, I will check into this, those fans are ridiculously loud, If I was selling these games I would have a stockpile of these quieter fans and sell one with every game, Stern just keeps using sub par product.
