Can you use a H.D. 120V Outlet Timer with Pinball Machines

    My brother and I operate a few machines at a local game store. The problem we have is the employee's forget, or don't bother to turn on the pinball machines. Could we use a H.D. 120V outlet timer with our machines? That way we could set the timer to turn the machines on at open and shut off after closing time? We have some EM's, solid states and modern DMD games. Has anyone that operates machines tried this? Here is a link to the timers I was looking at. We were thinking one timer for every two machines.

    Just remember that if your state observes DST, or there is a power failure, those mechanical timers will no longer be correct.

    Cool idea actually.

    To go one step further, if you can connect to a network you could also try one of those Wi Fi wall outlets that let you control devices from anywhere with your phone or tablet.
