Can you use a 7402 in place of 7404

    Reason I'm asking is I ordered ten 7404 and I received eight 7402 and two 7404.

    Also do edge connectors come in different configurations? I E. I ordered four 10 circuit connectors,three were basically backwards and one was what I needed. Same part number on all four.

    No. 7402 is a quad NOR chip. A 7404 is a six inverter chip. They're different logic functions.

    Well, you can but it would end badly. They are very different chips from a functional perspective.

    Great Plains is awesome. Chris is right. Quality stuff , not counterfit knock offs.
