No theses are LE unit. You can drill the holes but most likely will need to re powder cost the lock down bar. However, if you use a drill press and go slow with a good bit you most likely will not damage the power coat. I am assuming the power coated bar your wanting to buy is done and not an AC/DC lock down bar. If so make sure the bar will fit this machine. Stern changes the locking mechanism from machine to machine.
