Can Williams SW-11A-25 be used instead of SW-1A-70 by removing blades?

I ma in need of a pair of SW-1A-70 switches, which seem to be out of stock everywhere. However, I have noticed in the Williams parts manual that the callout for SW-1A-70 also references the SW-11A-25, which seems to be the same except for some extra blades. I was wondering if I could simply buy the SW-11A-25 and remove the extra blades and just use that for the application of the SW-1A-70.

I bought the recommended replacement at the Pinball Resource, but it turned out that it was too long (I suppose that I could use it, but I would have to drill out some new hole taps, and I'd prefer to not do that.

EDIT: OK, I got to talk to Steve @ Pinball Resource. Yes, the SW-11A-25 is compatible by taking off the extra blades/dividers; he only recommends a different switch for the SW-1A-70 because it's cheaper, even though it's a different size (i.e., the screw holes would need to be redone).
