I don't think your first post is accurate at all. NIB pins will almost always decrease in value. If you don't like that don't buy one. Pretty much all of my pins that I bought used are worth what I paid or in most cases more then what I paid. If they are not it's because I really wanted it and overpaid for it knowingly. If you paid 7k for a LOTR that's your own stupidity. Around the holidays sales are always slow, this happens every year and is nothing new.

Must be time for another magazine story on Kaneda...

Oh then you didn't have one of these sitting in salt water. BOAT= Bust Out Another Thousand. Or more...

"Pinside, he tells me, is a really positive community."

Quote from Kaneda at the end of the article!

Damn guy, you might be the most narcissistic dude I've ever come across.

How exactly is that quote narcissistic? It refers to Pinside, not himself.

Based on many responses he's elicited in this thread, he's just incorrect, not narcissistic.

Seems to be fairly spot on to me. Kenede sounds like the lovechild of House-O-Pin and captain neo.

Do Pinside members just disappear with enough thumbs down?

    #109 9 years ago
    Quoted from Astropin:

Why do people always say this? I grew up on a lake and we always had a boat and I don't recall it costing much to upkeep. Gas was the worst part.
When I got older and had my own kids we bought a boat. I've had the same boat for the last 9 years (twin engine, 21ft) and the only thing it's cost me has been gas, oil and insurance.

Everyone I have ever known that's owned a boat has said at some point "A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into." Not knocking boat ownership but from what I have been told, docking fees, upkeep, etc can be very expensive. It was only an example of a hobby that you don't make money at, not an attack on boaters.

    i will admit...

kaneda can get more votes in 6 hours than i can get in 6 weeks on a topic

PRO TIP: I found that if you quickly down scroll through the thread and look for the blue boxes around posts made by the OP that you can thumbs down several posts in a matter of seconds to save time and effort.

Robin needs a thumbs down leader board.... I know a guy who would be at the top of it all the time!

Oh I didn't take it as an attack. I just get tired of hearing that over and over. Must be true for salt water boaters?

No docking fee's here and it gets stored in my yard (shrink wrapped) in the off season. It's really been a great experience. In fact nine years later and the boat still looks great and runs like new.

Saltwater boating is an entirely different league. The fishing is also MUCH better. Bass fishing gets old quick!

OT: What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen Bass ?

    Quoted from beelzeboob:

Kaneda, maybe you should sell your single pin and invest the money in more old video games that don't seem to lose any value (I don't hear you complaining about those).

He can't complain about those, he got banned from that site.

If we are referring to the breast implants, than most likely saline, so yes, salt water. Now, if they are silicon, than technically H2O(fresh water molecule) is required in its synthesis. So, in essence, this is a trick question, but still decent eye candy either way.

Good Monte python reference, but water creatures don't have any air velocity factors, that is unless you are launching a bass from a canon

Don't fish. We take the boat out, go anchor at "cocktail cove" (a sand bar) and hang out with a crap ton of other boaters and drink

    Fake and faker. Prefer OEM.

Hehe, but "bust out another fitty thousand" on those two

    How much were the racks?

The one on the right needs to make sure she has the updated non corrosive bags.

Some OEM parts are a bit flat though, in which case aftermarket can make a real improvement.

    #141 9 years ago

NEVER aftermarket the "ladies", EVER, it NEVER works out imho.

Give me some natural, down to earth beauty. That's it.

    Sometimes still better than NOS.

Please sell your broken pin and move on. You contribute nothing but dribble as well to all arcade forums you plague.

And no despite you saying it Tron LE is not a 8k game but you can keep saying it.

This thread has no redeeming qualities.

The OP has made his point. Others have countered with their own observations.

    Time to close this thread.
