All the links sent to me including the one in the pic will not work for me. I'll smash the mod with a sledgehammer before I click on another link to the directions.
Quoted from Beebl:Is this from Lermods? Here is what i found:
1. Power off your machine!
2. Remove glass and slide playfield out and on to its service rails.
3. Remove backglass
4. The mounting of the disco ball occurs first.
5. You will first remove the top plastic by removing the two screws as shown in the picture.
6. The disco ball mounts to the back screw on the plastic as shown in the picture. We have provided a longer
screw if it is needed. (see pic)
7. The spotlight mounts over the screw just in front of the Dazzler plastic. Remove the nut and install the hex post
that we have supplied. Install the spotlight over the hex post and secure with the supplied screw. (see pic)
8. Run the wires down through the hole under the bottom plastic (it is the hole through which the wires for the
spinner go through, or can be any nearby hole.) Ensure wires do not bind when lowering the playfield.
9. Reattach the lower plastic.
10. We will now make the connection to the game.
11. The mod is run off the 3-pin connector in the backbox (lower right board next to power supply, see pic). It can
only be plugged in one way, but the black wire should be on the top.
13. Connect the two red connectors coming from the spotlight and the disco ball to the two red connectors coming
off the circuit board.
14. Unwrap the photosensor (white wire) and feed it to the disco insert on the playfield (left side by the spinner)
15. Using tape (not supplied) you will secure the sensor to the playfield, make sure the sensor is under the
lightboard (see pic). The sensor will activate when the disco insert lights up, causing the disco ball to spin and
the spotlight to come on. This is how the GameOn Technology from Rock Custom Pinball works.
16. Secure any loose wire and the circuit board with supplied zip ties.
Thank you so much!! Maybe in the future a printout of the above will be included.
Quoted from wiggy07:TP, i clicked on the link for the Google Docs and everything worked for me. You may want to try clearing out your Internet Cache, history, and temp files, restart the browser and try again. Try using a program called CCleaner, its free and cleans out all the browsers at one time.
I enclosed the screen shots from the website also. I believe Beebl is correct with his instructions also.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Much thanks to you also! !
Quoted from Cheddar:I searched for instructions and the lermods link never worked for me.
Telling us who made the mod would have helped and prevented me from pointing out there was a link on the bag.
All good. Sorry I didnt mention mod maker and the fact that the links wont work for me in original post. Thanks again for reaching out.
