On my Grand Lizard the end of stroke switches at the flipper buttons are pretty corroded. I filed them some but they still spark a little. Would putting in new switches help increase flipper power at all? Or is it just they either wok or they don't?

Disconnect them and check the resistance between the two blades. The more resistance, the more power wasted going across them. New blades I've measured are typically ~0.6ohms.
Don't forget your cabinet flipper switches also need to carry the full power through them, they're just as important as the EOS.
