Hopefully this isn't plain obvious... But I cannot see how to search a thread --- only the global search. Is it possible?

Example: I'm looking in the "show me pictures of your game room" thread with 40+ pages. Perhaps I want to search for posts in this thread that say "neon" or "amazing" or a specific poster.

That would be great. But not aware of this as an option.

For the specific poster- you can copy and paste the thread title into the advanced search box, and then type the poster name in the "By Pinside User" field.
Not sure about searching within that thread, but you can do it via the google machine...
site:http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/lets-see-pic-of-games-rooms
if you want to search for the word neon within that thread, just do this-
site:http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/lets-see-pic-of-games-rooms neon

Google is fairly quick indexing the site!
I'm also working on functionality that will allow you to search in threads as well as show posts from selected user(s) in a thread. But this still needs some work so don't hold your breath please! 
It only works on each individual page of a thread but I just use Control+F when I want to search for something specifically.
