I bought an undercab lighting kit for my Getaway from Mezel mods and i am thinking about just cutting the connector and hooking it up directly to the supercharger flasher circuit. Can i do or will it overload the circuit ? I figure it should be ok considering it is leds but there a quite a few and just want to be sure.

You can run under cabinet from your flasher circuit, but if it's RGB LED, you will have to make sure you wire only the color you want and the power. Since I am not familiar with what you bought, I cant say that you can use that. But a normal strip you could do the way I suggested above.

RGB strip you can run 3 flashers to the strip for each color and only 1ground. I did this real effectively recently on a t2.

No RGB just regular leds

So it shouldnt overload the circuit correct ? Also, no polarity correct ?

Polarity is a must.

Thanks Grumpy. I assume the circuit can handle it being LED ?

Yes it can as long as you don't get crazy with it. What size and number of leds were you planning on?

smaller leds on a strip. Aprox 30 for under the cab

Thats no problem. Use the 12v URegV terminal on the driver board for positive power. Negative wire to the black or blue striped wire on the flasher bulb socket listed on page 111 of the manual.

I did this using the four section (two on each side under cab) phillips I bought at Costco. Used all three colors tied to different circuits.
