I have raven and hard body, 2 of the ugliest pins out there. I cant think of many that are worse. Although I hate Ali's Playfield. Can you?

BAD GIRLS! , Diamond Lady is pretty bad. But many of the Gottlieb/Premiere pins in the 80's have to be among the ugliest.
haahhahaha I read the title of this thread and I knew it was you & your collection! I love those cheesy ugly machines, wish I had room for them right now. I was gonna say Bad Girls but erak beat me to it! ARRGGG must. think. of. ugly. pins.......
You know how your Grandma had that one painting at her house and it creeped you out? Like, painting of your great-great-great grandparents and you'd wake up on the couch in the middle of the night and see their eyes following you around the living room? Yeah, they made a pinball machine based on that theme and called it Genesis. I mean, really, when you think of Genesis, do you think of Phil Collins or a dwarf, a Vegas dancer, and Albert Einstein? I'm pushing thirty and that backglass still creeps me out...
Luke
yeah I think Hardbody is probably the 'Steven Seagal - Direct to Video' of pins, if you want to sell it next year look me up, seriously.
Odd, I was looking at a Genesis. Anyway, id like to think I have the YYYYYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGLLLLLLLIIIIIIEEEEESSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTT collection. But I love it.
I might be in the minority....but the backglass on Genesis never bothered me.
Genesis, INMHO, is the best System 80B pin out there.
Genesis. I could not stop looking at that backglass. It's like Rosemary's baby: hideous, and yet you cannot turn away!
One other thing I'm noticing on that Genesis...
What are the two buttons on the front of the machine on the right of the coin door area? Usually the start button is on the left, that thing has two and they're on the right with arrows.
That game is really strange looking, I think it would go well with a post apocalyptic collection of pins along with Road Kings.
Or the high score name input. The left and right arrows move up and down the alphabet. Take your pic tho.

For some reason Premiere couldn't figure out to just attach the initial enter buttons to the flipper buttons. Strange considering all SS Gotliebs prior worked. HMMMM? What happened?
I know, they are actually extra flipper buttons for that Midget on the backglass because he cant reach the cabinet buttons.
Quoted from mykquillion:Just a few suggestions for the discussion: DE Torpedo Alley, and Bally Party Animal are the first two that come to mind. Nothing good about either's art.
I like both of those (and Genesis) because to me they are fun!
Gilligans and Strikers Extreme I don't like.
Party Animal: Furries need pinball too.
Raven has awesome/terrible backglass.
Street Fighter II is a crime against humanity.
The ugliness has left me. Hardbody and raven have both hit the road. now its some of the most good looking system 11s. The next challenge: Who can beat the uginess of my old collection?
I agree with all but pinslave =-) I love my SMB. It is well themed but very simple playfield art. I think it is the color that turn most off. And never thought of doctor who as ugly just over the top and a little cheesy.
genesis, SF2, LW3, hard body, NMOES, raven... after that I am not sure there is much uglier out there. oh yeah barb wire I can deal with the BG not the PF.
Man for the era of these pins they did not spend any time or money on looks did they?
Quoted from spfxted:I agree...Genesis is a pretty fun game. Love the Metropolis Robotrix in there!
i think it's not that bad for the same reason.
