I see a lot of ads recently for “excellent”, “mint”, and “beautiful” games that have faded artwork on the cabinets. Frankly, I think it’s BS. Am I wrong? An “excellent” game has an unfaded cabinet IMO.

Sure the playfield is nice but if the cabinet is white, is it really beautiful? Ugh, just sick of seeing these adjectives on $3500-4500 games.

I made a post about calling games restored when they are not.

I feel the same way you do.

IMHO it would cost $500 to $1000 to replace the decals unless you do it yourself. The machine price should reflect that. Some sellers state that they'd "throw-in" spare decals but its a job to replace them on the machine.
