I like my Baby Pac-Man machine set really steep to make it more challenging. Because Baby Pac-Man doesn't have a plunger and relies on an eject coil to put the ball in play, a lot of the time it takes the ball multiple tries to make it up into the playfield. Is it possible to increase the coil size to give it more oomph or will that not fly?

Thanks

Mines steep too. Should have plenty of power. I’d clean the saucer eject mech first and replace the coil sleeve.

I’d also check to ensure the proper coil is installed as an operator might have done a fix at one point.

I have no experience with this game but assuming it’s the left or right saucer, the manual mentions it should be COIL - SOLENOID #AO-27-1300.

Agreed here. Mine hasn’t had any issues and it’s steep and played hard. Sometimes mine fires so hard the eject arm gets stuck up.

I have a similar issue with a High Roller Casino. Was going to get a “hotter” coil if one is available ?

So the trough coil is labeled "Stern 09-5023-0T" below that it reads 22-600 (I take it that is the wire gauge and number of turns) which the last number per the link above is supposed to be the equivalent Williams coil (22-600) but when I go to the Williams section there is either a 22-550 or a 23-600...not a 22-600.

Either way - what coil could I get (without taking one apart and eliminating wraps) - to hot rod this a bit to make sure every ball gets up the trough? (It's a pain in the tush during multi-ball because then they just start stacking up...ugh)

BTW- I did add another washer on to the two pronged ejector mechanism that kicks the ball up the trough. There was a lot of play and I had an earlier suggestion to make sure it was aligning properly. SO the switch works, the coil works, and it's aligned - but 1 out of say 10 times (after added said washer) it still isn't making it up the trough. And I've actually lowered the playfield to 5 1/2 - 6 deg...any lower the ball wont roll...lol So it's not too steep.
