Can 2 stern pinball machines fit in a Honda Odyssey van? I measured the door on the side and it is really tight to get the head in the car.

Anyone? Need a little help here folks?

Pretty sure no. What year is the van? Different years have different designs and back opening widths

If there is a will there is a way

Odyssey (1999-2004) - Can fit one pinball machine in the back with the middle seats installed. Can fit two if the middle seats are removed and the machine is slid in through the sliding doors. Front seats may have to be moved forward some to allow the second machine to be slid in.

Odyssey (2004+) - Two EMs with heads off fit in the back with the middle seats still in and heads behind the front seats (but it's tight). For pins with heads folded, only one fits.

Odyssey (2011-2015) - One game will fit in the rear cargo area with the middle seats installed. A new in box game will fit with the middle seats installed if the seatbacks are folded down.

If the handle on the pillar between the doors is removed a second game can be slid in through the sliding doors (with middle seats removed of course). Front seats may have to be moved forward some to allow the second machine to be slid in. The sliding doors do not open as wide as the 1999-2004 models, so you may have to angle the game to get the head into the van. Stern games fit easier through the sliding doors as the head is narrower than WPC and Data East games.

Odyssey (2018) - If you remove the middle row, you can fit 2 Sterns. One horizontal along the middle row, another will slide straight in from the back and it will also fit a dolly straight in.

I have gotten two in an Oddessy. all back seats out or down floor level. One pin on its side, through the side doors, flush up to driver front passenger seats, the other one through the back hatch on its bottom. The games form a tee in the van. Mine was like a 2006. I would measure with a tape measure first.

I had 2 in a 2006 Oddessy. One went in through the sliding door straight across and the other went in through the back hatch. Fit well!

    Thanks all. I’ve got a 2014.

fishmanrob don’t leave us hanging, did you get both in the van? What were the 2 games?

    Yes.

Take all the seats out behind first row.
1 in through the sliding doors. 1 in the back. Easy peasy.

100% Yes. I have fit 3 in a Honda Odyssey (although 1 had the head removed).

I have/had a 2014 That pin wrapped in blue at the front of the photo is a Stern LOTR. It looks like it will fit through the side door, but will not. Put down a carpet or something to protect the floor and slide the pin in lengthwise from the rear, then turn sideways behind the front two seats. A single pin will fit length wise behind it. You cannot fit two pins side by side in the rear unless one is on its side with the head removed. In this photo the machine on the right was a parts machine.

Going tomorrow- Tuesday to pick up the 2 pins. I’ve got a 2014 Honda Odyssey model and I plan on putting both through the back and turning one sideways like folks have stated. With the hand grab rail, I don’t think it will fit straight through the sliding door. Will post pictures tomorrow after hopefully this works. These are HUO pins and I just don’t want to scratch them and so on.

2 sterns fit with no problem in the 2014 Honda Odyssey. Put the 1st one in from the rear and turned it.
