    I think the glass is too tight. There’s not enough play for when the wood shrinks and expands in temp changes creating an outward force on the upper section of cabinet. My pic shows where I think the pressure is and cracking the laminate. Usually on situations like that, there is a rubber gasket or pad that is between the glass and wood. It acts like a shim and expansion buffer to hold glass in place and you then clear silicone the joint to hide it or hold glass in.
