I live right where its happening..my zip has been off the list but I know many that have been cut.
It makes no sense, instead of pge keeping up with maintaining there equipment ( and clearing the brush around lines) , they now are cutting power.. How is this a long term solution, the winds will return throughout the weeks and months to come. The problem wont be fixed by doing this...
Poor decisions made for a long time I suppose

    Quoted from Cruster:

So what if you loose power for a day? Bfd. Atleast you still have the house/your life. Perspective...

Its a major inconvenience for people have done everything they are supposed to..pay their bill.
If I had to shut down my business for days without power, I cant pay my employees. Thats loss of money for them and me.
Not to mention the stores that lose refrigerated food, schools kids that now need to be taken care of bc the school is closed.
Not to mention its something that shouldnt have to happen, and again shutting the power doesnt fix the problem, they could do it again in a month if they deem necessary..I think its ridiculous

It would have been crusher if I couldn’t have opened my office. I know others had that problem..

All day long it was the talking point at my work. No one was happy, whether they had power interruptions or not.
The company should have had smart
Enough individuals to prevent a situation like this
