Quoted from scasey:

Looks like John Telner in Oakland got it.

If he got it then it won't be long before we'll see a Mr. Pinball ad telling us it's the nicest one on the planet and that it looks like you just slid it out of the box at your house (or something along those lines).

"Working Condition
Compare prices and see I am selling cheap."

Ummmm....ok. Even the Epay sold listings aren't that high.

You saw that too? It looks like he changed the title to just High Speed earlier today.

Agreed. Annoying ad.
If only we had a masked avenger who would post a counter-ad screaming that the pin is worth about half the asking.

Woah what! I thought he was asking 2800$ for Getaway?!?

what about this gem:

sfbay.craigslist.org link

Kings of steel for 2,200$! and he put his sob story that he paid over three grand for it! Sorry you got rooked but that's all on him.

#107 9 years ago

The guy with the high speed is delusional.

This looks like a good deal or a scam... space shuttle for $400. Has anyone checked this out yet?

Space Shuttle does feel like it might be a scam with no contact info.

This one is now 4 hrs old but feels more real. Wish I was free today to pick it up.

Eight Ball Deluxe Ltd Edition

My family has owned this great pinball machine for 20 years, but now the kids are gone and we are clearing out the game room. This is a fully functioning collector's item that is in great condition. All lights, sounds, bumpers, flippers, and springs work perfectly.

A model in prefect condition is currently listed on Ebay for $2,700. But we don't have time to sit on this like a dealer would to work the market. Its yours for $1,500, first come first serve, with cash.

Call Bryan: 707 two eight zero 9010

Just called and the game is sold. There was a "contact" button at the top of the page. The seller's name and local phone number was listed.

Earthshaker gone at $1600.
-mof

Not at 1600, I offered 1750 and someone came to look before me and offered more. Their loss not to ask me if I would pay more.

It's fine as long as long as sir-flips-alot did not get it.

#115 9 years ago

Yeah I emailed him last night on that ES, didn't hear back until this morning. He said he had a buyer lined up, but would I pay more. Told him no thanks, you already have a buyer lined up. If buyer passes, call me. Was sold within the next hour.

Wonder who got the free Police Force in downtown SF last nite and what the condition was like...

#117 9 years ago

agreed that was a find

#118 9 years ago

This one made me laugh out loud, only 17,080 units made!

Did anyone contact the guy selling the swords of fury on sac c/l?
$1900 seems a little steep.

Not me. I got a buddy that wants me to find him a decent SoF and shop it out for him, but I can't start with base cost at $1900.

Anyone call this guy? Looks like it could be legit, crazy good deals... sfbay.craigslist.org link

#123 9 years ago

It's gone now, but was that the ad for a earthshaker, cftbl and another pin all at the price he paid? (He mentioned having the original receipt)? I was curious about that one but figured it may be scam to gather phone numbers.

Hope if someone scores they report

Crazy good? Those sure look like normal prices to me. I'd like to pay less for an ES.

His original prices were $950 each for earthshaker and bonsai run and $1450 for create from black lagoon

It was taken down briefly but is up now, not sure why he'd leave the deal in there about the receipt. Fairly typical ad on CL, low price offered at first. Tons of interest, then re-edit the price to new levels (often at what a nicer machine would go for) you end up going by and it's seen better days.

#128 9 years ago

Yep, post edited and prices way higher now - too bad

#129 9 years ago

At this point they'll be there for a bit. though I believe someone was hunting for a CFTBL.

#130 9 years ago

Hes still asking exactly what he paid
xscrap was looking for a creetch but not at that price I'm sure

#131 9 years ago

Ya he accepted a lowball offer on the games right out of the gate. I offered more for his creech but never heard back. Oh well Im sure a local flipper will be happy to reap the rewards. I have a nice ES project I am parting with. I did all the work on the shop out, new flips pops ect. Needs board work 1200. PM me
