    Quoted from Fytr:

    Okay, time to brag.
Managed to snag 2nd place in the Iron Man tournament last night!
...we'll see if it holds by the end of the show.
That IM machine (at the Jay Richardson Pinball booth) is really cool, decked out with LEDs, sub, shaker motor, and Invisiglass. It was a total blast to play!
Jay also has an Emerald City edition WOZ there. Beautiful machine, really enjoyed a couple of games on that too. I have to say that even though the theme doesn't excite me, the game is really well done. Built quality and attention to detail is incredible, theme integration is engrossing as well. I can only hope to have a JJP machine in my collection one day...
There is an STTNG there with a color DMD. I was blown away by how dramatic a difference it makes. Definitively goes on my wish list for my STTNG!
Great show! I think I put in about 8 hours over the two days. So many pinballs, so little time...

Sorry to tell you this, but I knocked you down to third last night.
It didn't matter though we were both knocked out today.

I also played the STTNG, and put up a score over a billion.
My first time playing that game, lots of fun for sure.
There was a 16 year old girl that got a score over 2.5 billion on the same game.
She has the game at home as well.
The ColorDMD was great to look at in that game.

Great time, must go to again next year.
I will have to bring my Predator to,I should have it by then

    Quoted from freezie:

Oh I will , it will be my second trip to the phof , but I still wanted to make it to calgary . Hopefully next year works out.

Freezie, there were a lot of games for sale on your wish list at the show as well.
    Black Rose,WCS, Starship Troopers,T2.
Nicest one out of the bunch was the Starship Troopers it was fully restored with powder coated hardware.

Nice meeting you Darcy,I hope you had fun playing the Woz.
Even with the light issues on mine.

    #20 10 years ago

    Frozen fish,lol.
I think the guy with the ST was from Saskatchewan.

    #23 10 years ago

I think it was around the 3500.00 mark.
I know it was over 3000.00 for sure.

    #25 10 years ago

Power surge from a generator took it out.
    Fried a printer to.
To bad to,lots of people wanted to play it.

I offered anyone who wanted to try it,could come by my place and play mine.
Darcy came by to play mine,I had a string of lights go out on mine as well

    #32 10 years ago

I left just before close on Sat night and was in second place.
Sunday the same guy finished with first and second place.

I am not sure who took third, wasn't me
Fytr, you must have knocked me down to third on Sunday then, thanks a lot

That Ironman was kicking butt, super fast.

    Quoted from Fytr:

Well, I was still sitting @ #2 when I left the show Sunday around 12:30pm.
...but I haven't received a call to inform me of my great victory either.
So, has there been any discussion of starting a league in the Calgary area? There has to be enough of us with enough machines in our collections to run a once-a-month league night of say, 15-20 players.

I would be in for this.
    I have 5 machines only though,MM,SM,LOTR LE,METLE,WOZ LE

    Quoted from Darcy:

On Sunday I was at the Pincade 2013 it was a blast. This was the 3rd one I have attended. Jay has done a great job organizing these shows. The ability to play pins that I would never own is the advantage of this event. Personally, I not really interested in the video games. The combination of the video and pinball works great. I met a guy that had never played a real pinball machine, he had only played video pinball games.
I did get to play the Emerald Pin (WoZ) once. It was interesting indeed! Then met Pingod and was invited over to play his Wizard of Oz. Thanks Again, Dan. There are a lot of levels to this pin.
The Hobbit should be more amazing.

Good to meet you Darcy, glad you had fun.
Maybe next time we won't have any issues with Woz
