I have a Gottlieb Spider-Man and when the ball sinks, it can take upto 20 minutes for the points to calculate and the ball to kick out.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Does it have an original system 80 MPU or an aftermarket one?

If original, is there any battery damage?

When the ball drains, not sinks.

Take a look at the switch in the outhole. I had the same issue on a System 80 where the switch bracket had bent outward binding the switch actuator. It would sometimes kick another ball out mid game or end balls early or just sit and do nothing when the ball drained. I'd start there then look at connectors on the CPU after that.
