Cal Extreme (Santa Clara) 2022 Thread

Cal Extreme is back at the Hyatt, and I'm stoked, and we're getting close. Got my room booked at the venue and thinking I'ma gonna just slide Oh Boy up to the room for gambling and drinking purposes.

Meanwhile down on the floor, Im'a bringing Expressway (for sale), Ding Dong (all pimped out and playing beeyoutee), and FLIPPER FOOTBALL also pimped out with new rubber and plastics and suchlike. Hoping for a Capcom lineup: FF, BBB, Breakshot, Kingpin(s), PinballMagic, etc... Think all of them have been there one year on another, but hoping for a nice row this year.

Also: Selling a Genesis that I might also bring to try to sell.

I'll be there early Friday and there all weekend.
Bringing a Nice Caribbean Cruise to sell on the floor if anyone is interested.
I could also bring a Monte Carlo Allied leisure marble driving game I picked up at the Banning Auction.

Whoa! I think I may have owned that very machine! I picked it up from a bulk buy in NM, and sold it locally in AZ - but a lot of the machines I sold found their way to Banning. Small world if that's the one!

Yep, that’s the same machine you sold me.
Took it to ZapCon 4 or so years ago and then donated it to Banning after the show.

I want to tank Coindork publicly for helping with some tips when I bought it. He guided me about fuses and that pedal spring (installed). I cleaned it up nice and fixed up the sound board.
I contacted Jay at IBDB and the machine is now listed. I should reach out to Jay again, I submitted about 20 pictures that haven't been uploaded yet.

Gonna be there Saturday and Sunday. Not staying at the show hotel 'cause I'm a bit of a penny pincher. Favorite thing about CAX is the sound. Feels like being back in the old arcades of the '80s!

Agreed. Pretty crowded this afternoon, but excellent selection of games. Hadn’t had the opportunity to play Big Bang Bar so that was a win. Really impressed with the Japanese selection of arcade games - the piano version for guitar hero!
