Hi,

I have a curious phenomena on a Gottlieb System 3 Cactus Jack.

When a switch is hit, there is sometime a delay of 3 seconds (or more) before it’s taken into account. When it occurs, all switchs hit during this delay will be count together at the end of the delay.
Sounds like the switch scrutation is too slow?

Thanks for help !

My Gold Wings (80B) and Volcano (80A) are the same way.
I have never dug into it. I have always believed that something on the board we was tired from age.
I also believed at some point it would fail, then I would fix it.

check voltages first. Sounds like a connection issue with a header on the board set or low power being supplied.

I think I’ve found ... It occurs only when the machine displays the status informations after a bat was held (First replay at ... etc). It records the switches only when scores are being displayed again.

This behaviour seems to be designed by construction on system3 pinball machines...
You are right for older Gottlieb machines, I have delays on an amazon hunt machine, and never found the origin of this!
Thanks for your help !
