It really depends on your tastes and collection. I've owned both and still have my Wonka.
The CC/CCC theme was fine but the looping music and easier gameplay got old fast. Also, the the playfield shots aren't as interesting.
If the future new code raises the quality and diversity of the game assets and code flow, that will certainly help it.
For the $, DI shoots similarly and is packed. Wonka is better overall but DI is a great pinball value these days.
