I think you are considering 2 very different games. Wonka, and JJP in general tend to be very deep, complex, rule oriented games. Still fun, just very deep. CCr looks to be a polished up version of the classic Bally/Williams version. Very lighthearted, fun, and not terribly hard to understand objectives. Personally I prefer the 90's charm. Both are great games, but consider exactly what you might prefer in your home. I'm in the CCr camp
