I’m in the club. I had the itch for a new machine. Halloween CE #926 is to long of a wait. So I Purchased a CCse with Mike from Pinballs.com. My 4th nib purchase from him. Great guy to deal with. Now the wait begins. He said possibly a 4 week wait until delivery. Thanks again Mike.

Quoted from GreenMachine19:

My SE is sitting in the warehouse right now. Was going to pick it up tomorrow but the only bad weather day for the week is tomorrow. Have to wait another week. I’ve worked with Kayla both times. Also very good.

Yes I dealt with Kayla and Becky as well all great people. Never had a problem. Very pleasant and courteous. Mike is probably the largest Distributor on the east coast. I think Todd from TNT also deals with Mike. I’m sure he gets a larger allotment of games then most distributors.

When did you order?

Today.

21 or less. I Also ordered side art blades.

Quoted from Its_me_aj:

Got my game set up last night. I must say the quality is amazing!!! Also went a head and put the alt translite in. It’s a huge upgrade as well!
I have one thing I’m not sure about though. Every time the ball exits the pop bumpers or the mine lock, it triggers a shot to Bart. Should it be doing that?

Looks great. Enjoy. So excited to receive my machine. Any day now..

First Chicago gaming machine and it is a beauty. A couple of minor tweaks, realignment of shooter rod and need to figure out the loose lockdown bar. Big thanks to Mike at Pinballs.com. All went well accept Chicago gaming forgot to pack a power cord. I’m using the one from my mame machine. Mike is on it and already shipped one out.

Thanks Richard. It’s an easy shooter and a lot of fun. It’s a instant hit with the family.

Quoted from Deadpool66:

Jealous when did you order and from which distributor.

3 weeks ago…my distributor is Automated or pinballs.com.

#1033 2 years ago

Only minor tweak for mine. Shooter rod was rubbing against the auto ball shooter mech. I just unscrewed the shooter rod housing plate then lowered the plate a bit and problem solved. Then game plays great. Other then CGC forgot to pack the power cord. My distributor already shipped one out.

Also hats off to the way CGC boxes there games. Definitely will have less damage during shipping.

Installed Brain Allen’s art blades today and they look great. Also installed Ulek train track mod another great easy install mod. Great job fellas.

Framed 2 of Brain Allen’s 13x19 prints and they look awesome.

Quoted from red_rabbit:

Anyone else here having to deal with the ball getting nudged between Bart and the side edge? Looks like I could use some tall rubber bumper pad there...
[quoted image]

Red Rabbit I have about 25 plays on mine and has not got stuck there. What's your pitch? I have mine set slightly above the level bubble at 6.5

Quoted from EZ-Rhino:

Any install tips / tricks to share (for either mod)?

Like JFH tracks super easy. Just slide left first and 2 screws right screw first then center screw. Screws included kit.

Side art blades I use the wet method it’s more forgiving. Raise playfield to upright position place bath towels over wires, electronics etc. Peel and place art blade reverse side on towel and spray with water. Also lightly spray inside of cabinet panel. When in right position squeegee out water with a credit card and wipe excess water.

Here you go. For those waiting on your game this will give you an idea on what you are in for!

Awesome Job Cary. Welcome to the Rodeo..

Quoted from jfh:

Installing a shaker motor in a Cactus Canyon Special Edition:

Limited Editions have a factory installed motor.

Like Steveo CCr is my first CGC machine and I was not sure how to install the shaker but that looked so easy a cave man can do it. Thanks for the video Steveo and thanks for posting it JFH. Shaker motor ordered.

Quoted from AJC3030:

Thanks for the tip in here. Going with " rust " powder coat for CC. Waiting on art blades , saloon doors and a dew other mods to arrive . Will post pics when done

AJC….Who sells the saloon door and train station mod?

#1285 2 years ago
Quoted from zr11990:

Go to the FAQ. I just bought them. It’s a sham they are t painted though.

Thanks… Was going to purchase then noticed they were not painted so no deal for me. I’m sure a some talented pinsider will make a painted one in the future.

#1353 2 years ago
Quoted from jfh:

For those that have their game:
What is the format of the serial number on the back? A pic would help too.
Is there a similar sticker on the inside of the cabinet?
The numbers on the shipping carton have been in the format 1xxx - I’m guessing that’s only a partial number?
Also - is that carton number less than 1251 for anyone so far?
Anyone have a mfg date earlier than February 24, 2022?
Thanks!

1379 checking in w/March 19th manufacturing date.

Has anyone removed the metal washers on the bumpers and replaced them with the plastic protectors and if so will the protectors from the original CC fit? Sorry in advance if this has been asked before..
