Agree. It’s a western theme with western music. It’s a long wait but will be worth it going on CGC pat reputation. I’ve owned fully restored originals that I’ve still had to pull the bonnet repeatedly. Rarely on the remakes after a quick dial in. Just play and enjoy.

Can’t wait, but I will

Just watched the full vid. Wow they really are attention to detail focused. I expect this game to be even better than my previous CGC remakes and that’s saying something considering all their previous remakes have been bulletproof. Can’t wait and so glad I decided to go in on the LE.

Such a thorough and well thoughtful presentation. Hats off to Butch and CGC.

It kind of goes with a corny western theme though.

Interesting to see if it fits perfectly??

I’ve just ordered one. Saw one fitted to AFMRLE and looks great mate.

Geez what will we expect by the time they start arriving in Australia
Hoping for better deliveries for all.

Mirror blades & a Shaker; ide be happy with that combo, I’m on an LE but would be still really happy with either

No no you really want that LE. I know I do

#3064 1 year ago

Looking forward to my LE and those mirrored backglasses look stunning. Glad I decided to bite the bullet on that too.

It’s a long wait that I know will be worth it. CGC = quality+

#3242 1 year ago

With the leg crimp issues I’ve had this before on other games and have just put on a second set of stand off brackets. No big deal and it solved my issues of being too close to decals. I’ve used metal over metal and plastic over metal. Just a thought guys.

#3277 1 year ago
Quoted from ClassicHornet:

I’m gunna put mine into a hyd press & open em up if they are over pressed

I’ve walloped them with a timber wedge to open them up to, but a press is much more civilised

Another great idea to solve legcrimpgate!

#3385 1 year ago
Quoted from Pinballer73:

Gee, I hope not. Their quality control isn't good these days, especially with backglasses. Wrong colours, poor artwork, missing artwork.

My mate just got his and said it looks fantastic in person. Don’t sweat it

#3386 1 year ago
Quoted from Ripper:

What are people's thoughts on values?
Like, it's great that CCR is a thing because it makes it more accessible, but the original will always be the original. I think I would rather have a minty original than the remake.
Just curious on opinions?

I’ve had fully restored ducks guts originals. Give me the remake any day and I’ve owned them all at some stage. But I’m sure others would disagree but that’s the good thing about pinball. We are all different…….. thank goodness!!!

Quoted from PoMC:

Yup, bought it and picked it up for a friend who is out of the country for a week. So I get to enjoy it and hopefully set a really high Grand Champion score he'll be stuck seeing for a while. Also having friends over on Sat for pinball night, so this is a nice treat.

Take the glass off and make it a monstrous score.

He’ll think he’s a crap player for years, what are friends for!

I haven't heard from Wayne yet.
Guessing the Aussie container may be on the water by mid November ?
Might get lucky and see them for Christmas

I spoke to Wayne last week. He had no idea when they will ship but they will ship all together when CGC start the exports run.

cooked71 I’m excited

Quoted from transprtr4u:

How should this be on a customer, this should be on CGE to have their electronics ready to ship not only to Canada but to all places overseas.
Don't see other pinball manufacturers having their customers completing electronics compliance issues?

How is this an issue this time and not for the other 3 remakes. I’ve owned them all here in Australia but we are still waiting too.

#8877 1 year ago
Quoted from dog:

Do you have an LE coming Scott?
Interested to know how many coming to the land down under.

Yes mate. Decided this was better to grab than mermaid. I couldn’t do both uggh!

Finally!
CCR LE 293 in the house! This is such an awesome game! Well worth the wait. (I know it's easier to say when it finally arrives.)
[quoted image]

Sooooo jealous mate. Think I’ll have to come over from Australia and play it lol. Glad you worked out the knocker so you can help me with mine. It’s due Christmas 2023 haha but probably true. Glad it’s been worth the wait.

#12310 11 months ago

For us patiently waiting in Australia LTG have you heard anything on when international games will ship. Figured I’d ask you as you have an inside track. Thanks and no worries if you haven’t heard.

2 months later
#13428 8 months ago

So we are still waiting patiently here in Australia. Hoping that blue sticker of compliance applies to us so we can get our games.

I’ve technically owned this since 28 November 2021(deposit paid). In for the long haul and from the sounds of it well worth the wait.

#13522 8 months ago

Well it looks like us Aussies are next in line. Just got the call from our distributor and he says the Australian games are on the line now and it’s time to pay up! I paid deposit 28 November 2021…….longest I’ve ever waited but from the sounds of it I will not be disappointed. Now the wait is going to seem longer knowing it’s coming. Hmmm 1 week to run the Aussie contingent 2-4 weeks to find and load container. 30 days on the water, 2 weeks disembarking and customs…….I can see a road trip to Melbourne rather than wait for local transport to Sydney. So yep I should have it by Christmas.

#13590 7 months ago
Quoted from mbeardsley:

Just noticed you are located in Nowra!
I spent several weeks there a few years ago (I was doing contract work at HMS Albatross).
I enjoyed my time there, and may have a chance to go back at some point...though I don't think that I'll ever get used to beetroot on a hamburger!

I don’t like beetroot on a burger either. I was just in Texas for TPF this year, we may have bumped into each other without knowing!

Quoted from Pinballer73:

Our distributor here in Australia has stated the 1st container is due late this month!

Just spoke to Wayne today. There was a glitch with container as US Customs wanted to search it. Container is now delayed, Wayne waiting on US Customs to reply to his email…..oh well we’ve waited this long.

#14146 6 months ago
Quoted from HOOKED:

Anyone know what the latest LE number is that has been delivered.
I know they do not go exactly in order but at some point they have to finish the build.
My deposit turns 2 years old within a month.

G’day Robert, mine just ticked over 2 years also, still slightly hopeful it will be here by Christmas, will depend if US customs got it back onto the same ship or if the container missed the boat.

Hope all is well mate with you and family. Cheers Scott

Well the day has come. Contacted my distro and poof one appeared. So Payment sent and I should be having shoot outs with the bad guys before Next weekend.
Longest I have ever waited....now where will I put it lol.

That’s brilliant mate. I’ve been given an update too. Ship arrives (hopefully) 7th December so fingers crossed it gets through customs by Christmas!

Hope you really enjoy it after the long wait.

Quoted from transprtr4u:

Congratulations to you guys in Australia, find it odd that they would stack and place games horizontal on other games?
But you got them , enjoy!

So did I. Hope it wasn’t my game. Especially with boxes clearly marked THIS SIDE UP, and DO NOT STACK!

#14655 3 months ago
Quoted from ClassicHornet:

Are you in the first container or the second ?

That’s confusing now as the first container was being called the second and the second is being referred to as the first. So if both containers are here now does that mean the backglasses will ship with the games like originally organised?

#14658 3 months ago

Paging LTG How do I do this from Australia. Our distributor or still a ticket with cgc? Thanks in advance mate.

Quoted from Mudflaps:

Bad vs replacement cabinet brackets. I got the replacements from CGC, definitely beefier.
The plastic ‘protectors’ help cover the damage. I may or may not replace the cabinet decals down the road, but at least I have them. [quoted image][quoted image]

We got the thicker ones on the Australian models. No issue with leg gate. You can slide a credit card under it. Maybe now I really need Lumalegz!!

Update on the cracked ramp. Jim @ CGC has organised a new one to go into container due to leave in about a week. Great support and thanks again to LTG for bumping it up the chain. Now I can finally play it. Yee Haa!!!

#14765 3 months ago

#14767 3 months ago
Quoted from theadicts77:

Got an email this week that they'll finally arrive here next month.

Great to hear you guys finally get yours. It’s so worth the wait. I’m really happy with the quality of the game. Plus we get all the fixes from what they learnt with early release games. Keep counting down the days and get the mods ready!

#14776 3 months ago

Hoping someone can chime in here. Fitted the PPS real knocker. Knocker works in coil test but not in game play.

My Texan friend has this issue also?

Tried it with fake knocker disabled and enabled. No difference. I’m sure someone has this sorted? Thanks in advance.

Quoted from cooked71:

Congrats gunslinger. Looks phenomenal. Been a long wait. Cant wait to unbox mine but need to sell a couple to make room (story of my life lol).

You’re going to love this Mark. Get that space cleared asap.

#14779 3 months ago
Quoted from Ballderdash:

Check the FAQs of this thread. It has something to do with changing the setting for awarding an extra ball or extra game.

Thanks mate but yep checked them already. It say turn off fake knocker. Tried that but no go.

#14782 3 months ago

I’ve got special set to extra ball.
Points based replay is set to free game (so should knock)
At this stage I’ve played with glass off and still no knock.

I just want knockers!!!! Haha

#14785 3 months ago
Quoted from SimplePin:

Pretty sure you have to set the replay award to extra ball for the knocker to fire on all extra balls. Pretty sure this is 90's B/W thing that has carried over as part of the emmulation.
Edit: My game is set to extra ball as the replay reward and the knocker fires on all extra balls and match. If you don't want the extra ball on replay just jack up the starting replay score.

Thanks I’ll try this when I get home.

Thanks mate. Yep that sorted it. Cracks like a real knocker should now. Had to change replay from credit to extra ball as you said.

Oh and the mirror backglasses just got delivered here also. Looks fantastic and just adds that little bit extra. Love the look and the colouring is just that bit nicer.

And for those of you that are OCD like me (paging marioparty34 lol)
If you LE plaque is crooked like all the ones delivered to Australia then it’s an easy fix. 2 small nuts under the apron hold it in place. Loosen realign and retighten. Easy!!!
