My Cactus Canyon SE is for sale, in case anyone was looking for one. Loaded up with all the best mods and alternate Brian Allen backglass. Was planning on keeping it longer, as I'm still enjoying it a lot, but needs must.

Much better that it’s in your garage. Think of the excitement when you get home again.

Looks like CGC has exceeded 500 SEs, where are the LEs?
i just picked up CC-1799 and saw several boxes of other SE's with 1800+ SNs. mine was an impulse buy, ordered through a local distributor at the NW Pinball and Arcade Show less than a couple of weeks ago after chatting with the CGC rep. the build date on the back is June 3, or literally the first day of the show i ordered it at. it was supposed to be shipped on the Tuesday following (i assume it was), and arrived at the distributor on Monday (i picked it up on Tuesday evening.)
Quoted from jchristian11:Looks like CGC has exceeded 500 SEs, where are the LEs?
Waiting on topper parts.
Quoted from jfh:Much better that it’s in your garage. Think of the excitement when you get home again.
Thanks! Hoping to get it set up and play a few games before leaving for work tomorrow.

How is this even possible? They knew they needed at least 1250 toppers in October!
Quoted from Damonator:How is this even possible? They knew they needed at least 1250 toppers in October!
There is a difference between knowing that you need them and the supplier being able to deliver them in the time frame you originally expected. The supply chain issues haven’t just disappeared.
(And it’s more than 1250)
And from memory; CGC wasn’t happy with the quality, so I think they could have re engineered something also ????? If I remember correctly ?
Quoted from jfh:There is a difference between knowing that you need them and the supplier being able to deliver them in the time frame you originally expected. The supply chain issues haven’t just disappeared.
It's also possible the parts came in and for some reason didnt work. Who knows, all we know is our LE's are delayed for some unknown additional amount of time. It would be nice if CGC would come in here an update us like they have in the past.
I guess I’m not in a huge hurry for my LE. I think we should all take the attitude that it will come when it will come. In the meantime, hopefully we all have multiple pins we can enjoy. However, I do sympathize with those who don’t and understand how they would want their pin sooner rather than later. CGC is a solid company.
It would be nice if PPS or CGC gave an option to pay the additional shipping to ship the game and topper separately. Heck, I would pay a processing fee.

PPS has nothing to do with shipping games- that’s all CGC. And to ship toppers separately you’re asking both CGC and the distributor to do double work. The processing fee would have to be enough to cover the additional time/profit for both even if you could work out the logistics for split shipping. I just don’t see how it would be reasonable/practical to do.

When you transport a NIB in an auto, how do you know which side to lay it on to make sure it's the cabinet bottom side?
I will have to move one soon and that's a concern of mine.

It will be the side that says "Truck This Side Only". With CGC they also have a picture of a game that is the same as the orientation of game inside the box.

Add to this the fact that the pricing for these machines was set last year. I expect prices for everything involved in building games have shot up, just like everything else has. I doubt there's much wiggle room left in their profit margin. I prefer CGC makes a profit, stays in business, and continues to make excellent games. Challenges like these have driven many companies out of business.

If the SE sales stall, is it any more practical for CGC to sit on 500K/week of sold machines?
I'll be streaming mine for the first time. Today (6-18-22) on Youtube and tomorrow on Twitch. 10:30am Central. Ask questions, want to try different settings? - Let's try it! Search Pinball Mayhem or

Fun stream! You convinced me to try and get one The out of box light show is impressive.

Very good point. But well above my pay grade.
Let’s just hope when Butch said “soon” he meant July.

It sounded like he really had no idea when he said that. Sucks that they are at the mercy of so many part vendors.
I was able to get my machine to the basement, set up, and play 3 games before leaving on a work trip. Build quality is great, and everything worked on the first game.
The box was a little different than others I'd seen in videos. There was foam on the bottom that not only kept the machine from sitting flat on the ground, but made it difficult to put on a cart. It was the only strap on the game, so I had to rachet strap the head first.
Until Tuesday afternoon, I was planning on getting a Toy Story. JJP put a fork(y) in those plans. I applied my deposit to Cactus Canyon instead. Thankfully, I had played one earlier in the month to see what a great game it is.

- setting max extra ball count to 1 (A1 standard adjustment #03)
- setting max extra balls per ball in play to 1 (A1 standard adjustment #04)
- turning off the extra ball on Polly (A2 feature adjustment #15)

For livestreaming I've turned down the playfield & backbox led brightness to -3. Looks much better on camera. But going to change back when done.
Well, if anecdotal evidence means anything, the rate of SE production has been cut by about 1/3 so let’s hope that means the slack is LEs being stockpiled waiting for topper parts …

Looks like your only mistake was not cancelling the work trip …

Lol. My passengers would be upset. Besides, I've got to make hay while it's raining!
I was reading the manual at the hotel: is it a misprint, or are you still slowing the train while trying to save Polly from going over the Rapids. It looks like an accidental copy and paste.

Yeah I caught that also..haha
Quoted from ClassicHornet:gorditas Those two games compliment each other so well & look absolutely awesome side by side, I’m positive you made the right move
Agreed. I have a spot beside my IJ reserved for CCr LE whenever it arrives. I’m so excited to get this game.
My CCr SE landed in my house this last Thursday. Serial #1802 build date June 3rd ‘22. It’s beautiful and plays even better. I’m currently on a big mission to fabricate my own replica topper (anyone else on this mission??), even if it’s missing the interactivity and the center figure. But stoked!! Looks great next to my X-men Magneto LE , among others

That is funky fresh - I want to go hang out at King Henry's Arcade!
Quoted from jfh:Two (linked?) NBA Fast Breaks. Very cool. If you want toppers try to get the originals for those. That would be awesome.
Yeah, but unfortunately they aren’t linked yet, despite my attempts. Chips replaced/added. Still scratching my head on that one.

I spent 20 years in the gaming industry and that's casino carpet if I've ever seen it!
Quoted from GreenMachine19:The game has played almost flawlessly so far. I’ve only experienced a stuck closed switch on the beer mug shot. Pulled the switch and just bent it with my finger away a little bit. Playing perfect ever since.*snip*
Yep, 40 plays on mine so far and this morning I noticed I was getting a lot of beer mug shots (even when the ball was in the shooter lane!). A quick inspection showed the same issue - a closed switch. Pretty easy fix This is what owning a pinball is all about. Video coming soon on Pinball Mayhem about this. I'm very happy with the build quality of CCR.
