I had to remove a lockdown bar, take the picture, check if it's a good picture. Then upload it to my desktop and then post on Pinside.
And I'm not as fast as a used to be.

Even those of us past our 50’s.
Yes, please be careful. I'm 49 and took it downstairs myself...pulled my back and could barely move for a week! I think it's normally a two person job. The good thing that came out of it is finally buying a motorized hand truck that I should have bought years ago. Live and learn I guess.

That hand truck looks nice!
which one is it?
Quoted from Pinless:I bought a CCR in hopes that it breaks so I have an excuse to contact LTG.
This plan is sure to backfire as CGC makes some really well built games!

Looks awesome, but sadly these won;t make the turn at the bottom of my landing or fit on the landing even with a pin (it barely clears alone)

For all the games going out. Tech support has been tiny. CGC really knocked this one out of the park.

Right you are. Thank you.

We do tend to get smarter as we get older. Money contingent.

It's the Chinese brand, 440 pound capacity for $1,300 on eBay. It's not an Escalera but it works well, is heavy duty metal, and is a lot more cost effective. It's made for straight run steps, not curved steps though, if you have that type of steps.
Quoted from polishedball:Ok a couple questions, I did check the FAQ but not saying I didn’t miss something.
1 my mine had no foam block in it, do they not use it any longer?
2 I had this odd black foam piece in the skill shot. Did it fall off from somewhere.
3 my glass rails sliced my thumb open to bleeding on the first play. I assume I’ll just pull the glass and sand the rail edge.
Little photo dump, the ramp I built in the garage to get in house is not pictured. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

What brand are your slot machines? I used to work on Bally and IGT slots in the 80's and 90's.

One is just a skill stop, then I have S+ and a S2000 IGT's. Had to learn a few things with the ram clear chips and stuff as both had dead main board batteries when I first got them to work on.

Thanks for the info. And the tour of the gameroom.

S+ would be the last series I had factory training on. Luckily, I got out of the casino bidness in 1995.
Quoted from polishedball:I did not see this ball trap on the faq. This has happened in at least half the games I have played. Bart kicks the ball back into play and it bounces / stops here. Angle of playfield is correct.
Thanks
[quoted image]
Bend the tab just slightly, that the ball is resting on, outwards just enough to get the ball to drop in the hopper?
Lower the power to the kickout?
Had anyone tweaked flipper power settings? There are times i struggle to get up the center ramp on a right flipper backhand shot

Sculpted shoulders (from the topper?) attached to his body would eliminate the trap problem from both sides.
So what kind of angle to you have your CCr setup on? I am wondering if it is the more extreme 8degrees I have mine at that causes the ball park to the right of bart. I just put a glass support button there and no more issues.
Quoted from pch3727:Got it setup! The game is a ton of fun. Whole family loves it.

Congrats, so much fun! I wish my whole family enjoyed it, but I am the only pinball player in the house.

Hmm, must be some variance from game to game. I've personally played about 50 games on mine so far, and never had one stuck there. Just 2 or 3 times on the left (from the player's perspective), and basically only from a wild ball. Got about 500 plays on the game total, and haven't heard reports from players of consistent stuck balls either. Luckily, Bart wobbles on a ball search, and always frees the ball on mine. But if it was happening every game, that would still be mighty annoying.

My game is angled at about 6.7/6.8 degrees. As measured with a proper inclinometer. Feels pretty good when I play. Haven't tried a steeper angle.

Why do you have it set so steep? I don’t think I’ve ever had any game that high.
Quoted from pch3727:Got it setup! The game is a ton of fun. Whole family loves it.

Man, that looks great!
Quoted from jfh:Why do you have it set so steep? I don’t think I’ve ever had any game that high?
Simply because the first time I played it, it seemed a little slow and points came real easy. So I assumed I was to center the the bulb which resulted in the current angle. (just read the manual tonight for the setting) My Scores dropped considerably I think my first 2 games were over 100mil and I have not yet broke 50 on the new setting. I'll dial it back some tomorrow for test.
i did get the train tracks on today, and tomorrow I think i'll swap BG.
I swapped the BG. Was pretty impressed with the trans light quality from the factory. Also dropped the set up angle to 7.5 so I’ll put some games on that later.
The train tracks do obscure the sight to the left bad guy but doesn’t pose a problem to me.

7.5 is still too high for any modern game I'm aware of. Most DMD era and newer games play very well anywhere between 6 and 7 degrees.
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:7.5 is still too high for any modern game I'm aware of. Most DMD era and newer games play very well anywhere between 6 and 7 degrees.
Yup. Almost all modern games are designed to be set at 6.5 degrees

Four
Quoted from jfh:Yup. Almost all modern games are designed to be set at 6.5 degrees
After a lot of play testing, modern games are way too slow at 6.5 (and easy). 7 to 7.5 is how I have all of my games set up.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:How many balls does this game use? Want to order some replacements. Please add to the FAQ as well.
It’s already in the FAQ in answers in the “My game is here!” Section (twice) though not explicitly stated as your question is.
I’ve added it as a stand-alone answer and added links to both mirror finish and chrome pinballs. Both are suitable because there are no magnets in the game.
Doesn’t the game have a “Install 4 balls” sticker under the lockbar?
Quoted from jfh:Doesn’t the game have a “Install 4 balls” sticker under the lockbar?
Yes, it does. As pretty much all games do since the 90s.

Translite looks good. It's a shame that the top of it is hidden and it cuts off the nice dark blue sky! That blue sky helps break up all the red. Still beautiful none the less but losing the sky sucks.

Took me 4 days to read through this thread. We have a SE+ on order but I don't expect to see it this year. It will be a long year. It is good to read all the good and not so good about the game. By the time we get ours, I should be an "expert". LOL

Nice! With CGC it is all good man, not to worry!

Cancel that SE+ order and call around to get an SE in a month or so, or hold out for an LE spot to open up. It's happening already.

I wouldn’t be canceling any order before the alternative was confirmed.
Yes, some LEs may open up but I certainly wouldn’t bet a confirmed topper hoping that one will. Most distributors I’ve talked to have plenty of people already waiting for LE slots that might open. Some new guy isn’t just going to waltz into one without being incredibly lucky.

Well of course confirm first
I am happy to wait for a SE+. If a slot opens for an LE and it is not for a stupid price, I might jump on it but I don't have the time to call around. We have 2 pins to keep us entertained till this one shows up.

Well, you wrote cancel in the first part of your sentence.
I guarantee you that at least one other person read it the same way I did.

CoolCatPinball and I have different views on how long you’ll have to wait, but it’ll be worth whatever the wait. Welcome to the club!
