Quoted from LTG:Put it in a huge semi trailer and cross into Canada. Act real suspicious at the border. They'll likely xray the whole truck for free. No charge, unless they find something you can't bring into Canada.

Once again LTG professionalism shining through
Man you’re good!!
Quoted from thekaiser82:I have had a lot of great FedEx deliveries. I only had to refuse one and that was a couple weeks ago. Fork went through the cabinet underside.

Does CGC use the bottom heavy foam the machine sits on? Like JJP? Great way to absorb road shock.
Quoted from TooMetal:Calling all Sheriffs in Cleveland, Ohio. Cactus Canyon arrived yesterday at Southland Lanes. It plays like a dream.

31 pins total on location!

I don't recall CGC nor Stern using the foam...all my JJP games have had it

Not that I recall.

Pretty new build, hopefully CGC has parts to keep these games rolling off the line. I’m expecting one from Cointaker in the next week or two! (Hopefully…)
For those doing their own powder coating - the side rails link in the Modifications FAQ has been updated to the correct CGC part.

Interesting. My machine just has the bare post as well. And hopefully CGC releases an official fix for balls getting hung up to the left of Barts head. Yes, ball search clears it, but it happens far too often.

I ended up putting this black rubber on the left of Bart to eliminate that ball hang up.

CCr comes with a black rubber in that spot from the factory. So that's covered all ready.

Hmm, I wonder if it depends on pitch and dot placement? I've only had it get stuck next to Bart a few times. Not nearly every game or anything. But as you said, at least ball search clears it.

Is there a separate part # for the two center screws on the siderails in the event one wants to get extras or replace those when replacing side rails? I looked in the manual schematic for cabinet parts but none appears to be listed. I have also asked Rick at PPS but no response yet.

I don’t have that. Pretty sure it’s a common size. I would take one to a hardware store and match it. If you 9or anyone) figures it out I’ll add it to the entry.

Thats probably the best idea!
So again there hasn't been much discussion on powder coat color opinion other than the man with the rust color and LE gun metal gray idea!
I know that (red) or shades of red are the most prominent color on the cabinet but IMO a dark cherry would be the safest choice if you ever plan on reselling your game at some point. Am I wrong? Let us know some more ideas!!!
We got one on location at a local bar that replaced "The Mandolorian." I really enjoyed playing it, but I beat it twice in like 12 tries. Other than that, it was a blast to play.

Other than that? So you are upset that you beat the game so quickly?
So you got to (High Noon)? Did you advance all the way to Marshall and complete Stampede and showdown and save all the poly modes? that would be impressive! Just getting to high noon wizard mode isn't technically (beating the game.) I've gotten to final battle on tmnt like 20 times but never did while completely the other wizard modes so I don't consider that beating the game. Sorry Jack danger. Lol.
Ccr's code as it is and expressed like a broken record, is ment to be a fun game with enough challenges and AMAZING malti-balls for good family fun. This game is not for tournament players, Imo.
Sorry to be so defensive but this is getting tiresome to hear over and over.

OK - Thanks! If I do find out anything from PPS I'll pass it along. If not I'll go the hardware store route.
Quoted from JoshieB:My machine arrived today with a pretty ugly looking box, but I took off half before signing for it and machine seems ok (can't setup until later). Kudos to CGC for their interior packing methods! SN #1460 for whomever is keeping score

Did the standard translight frame work for the plexiglass backglass? The dimensions are slightly larger for the plexiglass and I asked if it would fit and didn't receive a response from them.
I emailed them the same question. They actually contacted flylanddesigns for me and verified everything. Standard Bally/Williams option is good to go.

I'll post some pictures later of getting it into the house then downstairs myself, This was a lot easier in my 30's than 50 now. Made it bump free though. Just getting the legs on now.

There are a bunch of us here who know exactly how you feel nodding our heads.
Even those of us past our 50’s.
Ok a couple questions, I did check the FAQ but not saying I didn’t miss something.
1 my mine had no foam block in it, do they not use it any longer?
2 I had this odd black foam piece in the skill shot. Did it fall off from somewhere.
3 my glass rails sliced my thumb open to bleeding on the first play. I assume I’ll just pull the glass and sand the rail edge.
Little photo dump, the ramp I built in the garage to get in house is not pictured.

Check the paper taped to the glass and see if the block is still referenced.
Quoted from polishedball:2 I had this odd black foam piece in the skill shot. Did it fall off from somewhere.
Hopefully someone with a game can answer this.

The paper did still indicate to remove the block, so maybe mine was just forgotten.
I will say I have been very happy with the lighting and I was a bit concerned as I typically do not like LED games, odd on my eyes and glasses, Especially DP when hitting Boom. Anyhow this LED lighting is so tasteful an a pleasure to play, only been 2 games, as I am re-assembling my had rail now that I had to remove some posts from.

I tipped it back that way when I went to get the lift cart to slide it onto, as i didn't want to bounce it on an of the last lower steps. But looking at it does look like I sent it sailing.
Also maybe it is just me, but this seems to shoot a lot like Attack from Mars, I love it.

Looks great. Hats off to getting it down the stairs alone! I would be found dead under the game if I tried that.
Quoted from Only_Pinball:Looks great. Hats off to getting it down the stairs alone! I would be found dead under the game if I tried that.
This is probably about machine number 30 that has gone down these stairs, There is this method and also one I use going thru the daylight basement window and tipping it in, but being a brand new cabinet I went the harder, and safer route.
Quoted from polishedball:2 I had this odd black foam piece in the skill shot. Did it fall off from somewhere.
From the underside of the lockdown bar. A flat metal piece on each side, that foam rubber should be on it to prevent glass from sliding back and hitting metal.

Thank you, all mine were present on the lockdown bar, maybe it was a trimming that got dropped or something.
Quoted from flynnibus:The sharp lockdown bars is not new for CGC. Our CC wasn't particularly bad.. but it's a recurring theme with their stock. Just knock it down some.. I'd suggest starting with the lockdown bar, you normally shouldn't get edge exposed to the side rails.
This was the side rail at the glass, where my thumb happened to rest as I flip with my middle finger.
