Check to see if this is missing, if its not you might have an extra.

Having a Problem: 1st play on Brand New game. Flippers stop working and sound shuts off, ball drains. Any suggestions??
Quoted from MrMikeman:Make sure topper is enabled in settings.
Thats what it was. Factory defaults are off. Thankyou.

Check if the flap on the coin door is fully depressing the high power interlock switch in. Or leave the coin door open and pull it out and see if flippers return.
Be sure the power cord is in the back of the cabinet real tight.
Then check fuses on driver board in the head, see if the LED is on by the 50 volt ones, F108, F102, F107, and F103.

Flippers and sound die during game play. Very 1st game. Worked fine for 15 seconds then flippers lost power and sound cut out for about 5 seconds. 2nd ball flippers and sound came back, then after a few shots, out again then back on. Played a 2nd game, same thing on every ball. I will check power interlock switch and driver board. Thanks for suggestions!

You can pull out on the interlock switch white peg/post to engage the power with the door open.
It has a dent in it to make it easier to pull on. Its inside the door to the lower left on a bracket screwed onto the cabinet
You might also be able to start a game this way.
Its possible that the switch is bad but that is very rare. More likely is that the bracket that holds the switch needs to be repositioned towards the door to get better contact. Its kinda stiff to bend it.
Its much easier to just bend the silver plate that presses the interlock switch away from the door to get a more firm contact to the switch. It wont hurt it, bend it back like 1/8"
All of this of course if the power cord isnt bad or loose. You can open/bend apart the prongs a little in the power socket to get a tighter fit on the power cord. It should be snug.
Don't know if it's rumor or not, but did CGC lose the Williams/Bally license because of "screwing around" to produce & deliver this title ?

Yes, that’s what I heard about 6 weeks ago.
Quoted from ASAC_Schrader:I was told the spots on my armor are normal, does everyones look like this?

I have some imperfections on mine for sure.
It had me wondering if CGC will offer replacement powder coated lockdown bars for LE owners to purchase if they get damaged.
Anyone know? LTG ?

I was told by CGC that it's normal and intended. But to me it's not consistent on the armor and looks like a defect to me. Just wondering if they are all like this?

The license involves a lot more than one game that suffered delays. I doubt Scientific Games cares about that at all.

Does this mean no new run of MM from CGC?

Still coming. Along with all the parts and stuff PPS makes under the license.

When??? (I realize that you likely have no idea but curious anyway). Keeping a spot warm next to CCr for it!

CR 10 lights Red on board (backbox left top) when flippers and sound go out. Cord is tight. Coin door plugs seem fine and engaged. I can start games, it just cuts out sound and flippers randomly, even when ball sits in shooter lane.

Does it do this with the interlock white peg pulled out?

I don’t know about you, but I’d not be happy with that.

I have a couple speckles in mine and I think it looks like wormwood.
Im happy with it.

No. I started a game, opened door and Red light on CR 10 does not light up.

Page 1-50 in the manual. It is normally off. On at boot up or reset.

Quoted from ASAC_Schrader:I was told the spots on my armor are normal, does everyones look like this?
Mine does not have these spots. There is no way that is normal or intentional.
Quoted from Soulrider911:I have 2 CC Gulps left and I think that is going to be it for a while. PM me know you need a perfectly themed beverage holder for your CC.
These are so nice in person! I LOVE mine. Thanks again for such an awesome cup holder.
I received a message to check lower jet switch 55. I went into test mode and was looking around. I went to solenoid test mode and set repeat mode to on. I can scroll thru the list but not a single solenoid fires, which seems weird. Is that normal? Not much of a test in my opinion. Going into autoburn and letting it cycle twice seemed to clear it.
Another question is about the sdcard It looked like there is a port on the daughter board in the head. There is no specification for the type of SD card it requires. It also doesn't say anything about how to save the current Chicago Gaming logo. Anyone have a clue? I have a custom .Bmp file I made. I put it on a USB stick and then realized it uses SD cards.
Anyone else have any issues with the leg bolts being too small on their LE? 2/4 bolt heads seemed slightly smaller than 5/8”, causing them to round off in the same socket I’ve used for every other leg bolt for years.

Did you pull out the interlock switch peg to enable the high power for the solenoids?

Mine were fine.
I used a plastic lined 5/8" socket for finshed bolts and they fit snug.

Wish I would have had one of those plastic lined sockets. Removed/installed many leg bolts but never had an issue performing such a simple task before. Thankfully I won’t be needing to remove the legs again for a very long time. Based on my wife’s enjoyment of its gameplay, not going anywhere.
Quoted from Golgotha:I received a message to check lower jet switch 55.
Below the pop bumpers is a slingshot kicker with two leaf blade switches. They are switch #55 , not working or one may be stuck closed. Tests in Switch Edge Test.
Quoted from Golgotha:not a single solenoid fires,
On the left inside of the coin door are two fat white switches. Top one is high power lockout. Pull it out or close coin door to be able to test solenoids.

Micro SD Card - download the Monster Bash Remake manual from the CGC website for info on that.
Quoted from Golgotha:seemed to clear it.
And the error will pop up shortly if those switches aren't working or stuck closed.

Pinballl life sells them, get 2 as they can strip out:

Quoted from audihere:Got it! How about a fix for when the ball pops out of Bart and gets hung up to the right of his head on the sheet metal? Several photos of this have been posted here. It’s been happening to me A LOT lately.
I kept getting a ball stuck in the same spot too. A ball search would clear it, but it was becoming annoying. I added a rubber nub and haven't had the problem since.

That red LED will go on and shut things down if communications are messing up in the system. If you don't get an error on the display, then probably outside the main CPU->playfield connection. Check the cable to the solenoid board and/or topper. Or test with topper unplugged
Quoted from transprtr4u:so CGC is doing more remakes ?
No it was the rumor that Bally/Williams was upset over the delays with CCR and canceled their license with them.
Total BS.

So I’m assuming they are still going to put the finishing code out they promised.

so anybody's guess !

You mean the Lyman update ? Yes. Josh posted this a month ago :
"Since the unfortunate passing of Lyman the only work that has been done the last 15 months was the putting together of the "to-do list" of what's left to finish the upgrade. The number of people that have been working full time on design, software, graphics and audio has been . . . ZERO.
Everyone on the CGC side was already set with their 2022 plans (Pulp Fiction development among other things). It was on Lyman and myself to pull this through in 2022 and that of course didn't happen.
Now that CGC is through most of that other 2022 work, I'm hopeful that there will be some serious progress made during this year because resources should finally be available.
For the record, there is already a ton of upgraded content that is in the game. IMO there's already enough upgraded content that I feel confident we could ship what's in my game today and people would absolutely enjoy it.
However, I'm not interested in doing 'good enough' on this project, especially regarding the circumstances surrounding it. I owe it Lyman and I owe it to myself to finish off the totality of our complete vision for the game, and that's what I intend on doing regardless of how long it takes to get it done. "

Quoted from transprtr4u:so your confirming that CGC is still going forward with remakes ?
No. I have no idea what their plans are going forward.
Way back when they were talking 10 remakes, then 6. So with 6 they'd only have a couple more. And of course that can change as things develop. Especially with mixing in their own titles like Pulp Fiction.
Only the inner circle at CGC knows and until they announce it nothing is official.

Does jersey Jacks invisiglass fit on the chicago gaming cabinet? If not, which non-reflective glass do yall prefer?

Yep. I generally use Voodoo glass from Cointaker.

Standard, not a wide body like WOZ, Hobbit, or Pirates, yes. Standard size will fit a CGC remake.
