I placed an order for the SE with GameRoomGuys on April 5th. They said to expect a call in two to three weeks. I received the call this morning April 8th, made full payment and I can expect delivery Monday or Tuesday (4/11 or 4/12). I inquired about the SE+ and was told August, but not sure anyone knows just more food for thought. I'm just hoping I can pick up the topper at a later date.

What the HELL. I'm very happy everyone is receiving their machines finally. However, I ordered in late October, and I'm getting crickets from my distributor! I'm starting to get pissed when I read things like this. Again, I'm not upset at the people receiving their games, I'm upset because there's absolutely no structure in the timing of orders! It's bullshit.

Yep, I hear ya. I believe they have more in stock if you wanted to switch over and "settle" on the SE (No topper).

My distributor is also GameRoomGuys. They were customers of ours when PinRestore was still open.

I'd be curious to know what distributor took full payment before they had details on shipping. I thought it was against the rules and I would like to avoid them in the future.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. If they were planning on selling the topper separately, they wouldn't have made the SE+ version of the game and I don't expect people to put them up second hand unless they make a grand off of it.

I asked to pay in full because I had the money and wanted to pay via check. Totally not on them and they didn’t request full payment.

Well here is what my distributor said. We sent final invoice in December. You do not have to pay in full. Till we have ship date. Moral of the story is you did not have to pay invoice right away.
Similar. Along the lines of, "You need to put $1,000 down to reserve a spot and can get that back anytime before shipment confirmation. If you choose to, you can pay 100% up front and receive that back at anytime before shipment confirmation."

What's the point of answering that. If someone says "in 2 to 3 weeks" then something happens with more delays then everybody will get pissed off about being told it would be soon.

Nah…just choose your distributor wisely. Choose a distributor that has stock or doesn’t have a poop ton of people in front of you. It has nothing to do with CGC…as jfh has already put in the FAQ…and the faq is pure truth in this thread!
This is neat! I am new to this, but seems like I no brainer. I also noticed some interior, side art out there that's fan made. I like it, but curious if someone will release something that looks more like the LE side art. Thoughts?

Totally agree ! Eventually, what's the point of getting on a waiting-list? Now it's obvious that it's no guarantee you'll get your CCR earlier....

CGC doesn't ship based on the order you placed with your distributor.

I’m with ya. Placed an order late October and haven’t heard a peep from my distributor. It’s super frustrating.
