Quoted from flipperstick:The only spot you cannot see, and this is also for the LE with tracks already installed, is the far left bad guy drop target. You can still see it’s yellow pf light.
This is a bummer.

Quoted from jfh:The translites are not limited.
Yes, thank you. I did manage to get the alternative acrylic backglass (not the translite). Very grateful to have done so, before they sold out. Just wanted to express appreciation for those who posted info about it, in this forum thread. I have missed out on some things in the past by not staying diligent.
I just talked to Brian. They are sold out but 20 are going to the Texas pinball this weekend for sale there. I just ordered the alternative translite from him instead.
FAQ has been updated with comments from Brian on his alternate artwork for Cactus Canyon including insight on the PPS exclusive.
I couldn't help it. I also ordered the Limited Edition acrylic backglass from Flyland Designs. It's just too cool. I was planning on the mirrored version from PPS. I figure if I want to see the original artwork, I can always pop the translight back in the game. I just think Brian did a phenomenal job on this one. Take my money.
I am hopeful for a good CGC update from TPF this friday night, it is suppose to be streaming on twitch all the seminars. It is titled "completing cactus canyon" maybe a code update? Scheduled at 6pm.
And I ordered that acrylic backglass on Sunday myself, it looks stunning. Just got shipment info on the tracks that I ordered. Parts are collecting, but my distributor has not gotten any more machine yet after the initial 2.
I have the Mirrored one coming, but I ordered the acrylic one too. Maybe I will trade them in and out haha. looks great!
Is it me, or is the multiball stacking from the original not possible, maybe it's an operator option?
Quoted from poptix:Is it me, or is the multiball stacking from the original not possible, maybe it's an operator option?
I haven't heard of anything but I wouldn't be surprised if that was removed from the "Completed" code as it was very easily exploited and kind of ruined the games tournament play potential.

I will be there and plan to write a recap for the club Friday night. I suspect the presentation will be focused on “how did we improve Cactus Canyon” (including the enhanced code). Not expecting to hear an official announcement on the Sharpe/Sheats upgrade kit, though that would be a pleasant surprise.
If you’ll be there and want to chat about Cactus Canyon or almost anything pinball I’m easy to spot as I move around on a pretty unique scooter.
Just setup in our bar. Game is beautiful, come play it!

Hopefully better delivered than the last one ....

I think Butch is doing the presentation.

Thank you for that!
I look forward to reading it!

This exactly. After playing this exploitable feature for 20+ years in tournaments, Lyman was stoked to be able to fix that for this release.
Bummed that I am not going to TPF was all set to go but then the flight costs for insane just wasn't worth it .
Quoted from Only_Pinball:Does anyone now what the twitch channel will be for the TPF seminar?
I saw this posted in another thread:
Quick Update: All Train Track MOD orders were shipped out today. Momma and I are headed to TPF so if you order our Train Track MOD for your SE or SE+... we will fill them on a first come first severed basis when we return on Monday. Thanks again for everyone's support... it is greatly appreciated! Hope everyone is enjoying their CCr - it's an amazing pinball machine!

My wife thought I was the greatest when I told her I was gonna take her to TC this weekend, till I mentioned it was cause I had to pay the game I have on order.

Hahaha... nice slight of hand!
We need 8 sheriffs in Texas pronto!

There is one LE but it is the same show LE as before and not a production model. I’m not sure if it has the final Gun Metal Gray color as the production ones will but I spoke to Ryan and he said it should be the production finish. It looks nice but darker in person than in any of the pictures I’d seen before.
Quoted from jfh:We need 8 sheriffs in Texas pronto!
But still no Sheriff in Canada for Richard! It's just not right.

Is that Mylar around the shooter rod housing? That’s a first. Hope we all get a key fob unlike monster bash where only about 5 people happened to find one waiting in their goodie bag.

Lol! Not yet!

A key fob would be nice. When I received my MMRSE the goodie bag didn't have any goodies in it.
Put in all your questions and I will do my best to get answers. I hope to talk with Butch later today.

When is MMr going back on the line ?

I meant Cactus Canyon related, but ok.

Sweet all the TPF posts are making me sad I didn't end up going .

I'd like to know what pace production is moving along at, and will the initial SE production run fill the standing SE pre-orders. I ordered in October, and honestly, I'll be kind of ticked off, if I have to wait for a second run of SEs.

If production is anything like my previous 2 CGC pins...I won't see my machine for a while.
I'm in on a day 1 LE purchase. I don't expect to see my game until the summer of 2023 at the earliest.

Then you should call your distributor and ask him to hold your game for a year after it’s ready.

Lol... can't even get the CCR s on the line, then guessing they will do their own production game....
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:If anyone is looking for a frame for their limited edition artwork from Brian at Flyland, I picked this up from BarnwoodUSA.com. Made in the USA, from genuine reclaimed barnwood. Hand assembled. NO CHINA JUNK! They had many other styles as well. Very reasonable prices.
The limited edition print is 13x19... did they have a frame in that size or did you have to size up and matte?

What is the name of that frame or can you provide a direct link? I looked on their site and found a couple frames that looked similar but didn't have 13x19 as an available option.

Scroll down until you see the size options. $32 with free shipping.
I believe they also had it in a darker version in 13x19 also.
If barnwood isn't your thing, this is the site Brian Allen suggested for his translite and acrylic

Here is a link to the 13x19 for his art print

They are more expensive, but they are really nice quality. Their poster frames are amazing as I've purchased those for my theatre room.
Maybe not for everyone, but trying to help, nonetheless.
For those on the fence on the alternate artwork:
The backlit acrylic backglass from Bryan Allen is stunning in person. The pics on his website don’t do it justice. I took multiple pics but not going to post because they look terrible compared to real life.
Also saw the LE print. It’s nice but it will go in my pinball book. I’m going to use wall space for the acrylic display.

I really like these displays and have one myself. They have a mode that slowly transitions through the different white balances (warm white, cool white), it really makes things pop. I currently have my signed Iron Maiden translate on it.
Edit: It looks like that link isn't for a backlit 13x19 frame. Removing my second comment.
Quoted from explosiveegg:I doubt the Limited Edition print is meant to be backlit. My print should be arriving later today, so if anyone is considering it, I can test it out for you.
The print is definitely for framing, not backlighting. Sorry I wasn’t more clear.
Invoice Dropped! - Game to Ship out in 3 days. Very excited to get this title in the line-up and become a "New Sheriff." Based upon others' comments the wait will be worth it!
