Quoted from Riefepeters:

If you seem to know what the “saloon doors” are based on your own inspection under the playfield…what are you being so cryptic about it all the time? Why not share?

TLDR - the company leaks things to jfh and he promises not to disclose the full details. So you get posts like this all the time...

Metal standoffs look to be doing their job in my opinion.

Can you slide a card from top to bottom ?

Taking picture requests

Here’s the metal leg protector plate. Plenty of distance between leg and body. Passes the card test easily.

More of the armor please. So hard to get a feel for it as it looks so different in all the pics

Looks like they went thicker on the standoffs.

Because I’m pretty sure it confirms information I promised not to disclose. Read what I have in the FAQ. There is enough info to figure it out. If someone puts the pieces together I’ll confirm whether that’s what I think it is or not.

My information did not come from CGC. But Ryan declined to disavow my theory at TPF so unless something has has changed I’m pretty confident that we will get saloon doors that aren’t Saloon Doors.

Hologram doors?

Hologram doors?

No.

Here’s some armor pics. Beautiful flat gun metal grey. Legs have a slightly darker tone than top armor.

The pic in the saloon door section seems to suggest a pair of jumping beer mugs that can be pushed apart to allow the ball through to Bart. But I assume that would leave a large cutout under the ramp to accommodate the beer mug mechs.

Built like a tank. Nice weight to it as others reported.

Agree with insight75 built nicely. Here are some close ups of Bart’s arms. Right pistol much closer to “holster” but it clears.

Art blades had plastic film to remove. Real nice gloss. Remember to protect them before lifting playfield if you can!

CGC is putting the other pinball companies to shame with this craftsmanship. Also, I am not a topper lover. But that one is great. The character and detail shining through in the sculpt is top notch.

Quoted from jfh:

Have you been working with Turner pinball to leave just enough bread crumbs in the faq? will someone win a back glass if they figure out your suspicion? Cuz I’m not reading the faq unless a prize is involved.

I never lift anymore without these. Worth the 35 bucks cuz I've damaged blades before

The semi-secret dynamic duo of CGC support. Two of the best in the biz ready to support us newly minted sheriffs.
Thanks for what you guys do!

Who's gonna pull the glass and shoot us a topper video ?

#7237 1 year ago

I see a lot of value there and excellent build quality.

Is the leg-gate over or are these still prone to wrinkles?
