I look at this like a remake of, let’s say a Shelby cobra. Yea the remake kit cars look nice, but would rather have the original.

Any new word on this remake or other Bally/Williams Pinball? Collecting got too expensive in 2010 with all the new models like the Cheap pro and overpriced LE version. So I went back into comic collecting well that hobby got to expensive and ridiculous now with all the future movies, series, and anticipations of new characters joining the MCU. Anyways, just seeing what my future game room could be looking like. Thanks

Aptly used saying... for a gold rush town themed pin... Pan out? My prediction is it will get panned by some and exalted by others, and if it's anywhere close to CCC, then they will fly out the factory doors. It will Triple sales if the Polly sculpt topper was animated and she dropped a nip slip every once in a while.
My distributor a month ago said he seen the cc le topper and looked amazing. He has no reason to lie to me. Maybe coming soon? We will see.
Great theme but I think a better design would do it justice. I had one and found it not a good shooter or flowing machine, regardless of continued or not.
Totan would be a much better release for them, had one as well and much better player, but still sold it as I prefer my other games.
Also had CV, beautiful to look at but boring gameplay.
Had a beautiful Safecracker as well...really unique and I would have it back in a large 40+ collection only.
They def do a great build, would love them to an original title with BW 90s feel (and faster, stronger flippers).
Also use standard light sockets so you can customise your own lighting would be nice.
Just my view.

they are something else. wait till you have a tech issue and you're out of warranty. you get a link sent to you as your fix to a store that doesn't even have the part in stock!
a friend of mine bought an aracde legends 3 for zoo keeper. he found the game has this glitch sound. when he contacted chicago gaming he got a reply along the lines of "we are aware of the sound glitch with zoo keeper and that it can be annoying. but we not longer have the licenses to work on zoo keeper. " basically, you're s.o.l. and there is no fix coming for it.

Not a fan of either. But if it was gun to the head, trigger cocked, make a choice, I would take a WOZ over an OG CC. With CCr, we don't have any idea if they improved it, so jury would still be out on that I am afraid.
At it's core very much a late W/B super similar/clone of MM/Afm/MB. Hit right ramp 3 times to Complete, hit left loops to complete, complete all fans to light total annihilation...etc.
Its got a little more going on with arresting bad guys instead of bashing castle/saucer & drop target shoot outs.
Continued improves it as the OG code was never finished. I personally think it goes too far but its an improvement fo sho. But as said above we don't know what CCr has

So I know CGC has said Lyman Sheats is not currently an employee, but I do wonder if he's not working with them in some aspect. His involvement would make Cactus Canyon a must buy game for me. That also could explain the delay in release.

Doubt it. It would be a huge plus to have him on your team in any capacity. He is at the top of his field. Why would you hide that? JJP made it know the king joined their team as they should. It was a big deal.
Yeah, I'm not sure how much legal drama there is with these games, but they may still have to jump though approvals with Planetary Pinball. I assume that would be especially true with code updates. Heck, maybe Planetary Pinball wanted to be the only ones providing any code updates and CGC will just be buying the updated code they are working on. That would be exciting news and offer huge potential for future updates.
