So Matt Coriale did the software for CC back in 1998 and News has
been going back and forth for some year's that he has a much
more completed code for CC on his PC.

Now If he does, and it's been sitting there for nearly 20 years now,
why has he never released it to the public?

At the time of writing his code, Matt would have been payed for his time
at Bally/Williams True? So why hold onto it ??

Also noted! A few years ago it was said that Matt wanted 20 to 30K for the code.

SO why cant Matt get his code burnt onto a security chip that cannot be shared,
and for Matt to be able to sell them individually at $100 each ?

Win Win for all - No ?

There's no such thing as a security chip that can work on the wpc hardware..

I believe on rgp once was said that the development team would get bonusses when their game got in production and became successful, and he felt he didn't earn enough as his game was only a filler game;. so your idea that he's already paid for his time doesn't really apply in his reasoning.

But it would be great if new code would ever be released..

If original code was done in 1998 this one would likely be even newer (at least by a few months), and even 1998 wasn't 20 years or "over"

Implying it wouldn't get cracked like everything else in the universe

Ok well nearly 20 years - my bad. but close enough

Not everything is cracked or can be cracked.
Look at xboxone, ps4, wiiu, online gaming etc
Online gaming has been years now being able to play cracked games online.

I spoke to Matt years ago and yes he does have a more complete code, his time is money and like the code changes we did cost $3k just to add some sounds to match sequence etc and people torrent it.

People would just wait till one person had it like Nucore aka pinbox and he wouldn't see a cent for his time, he deserves to get paid.

Maybe he could do a deal with Rick and finish it

This would be Great if something could be done, Tho cannot see Rick being interested

If there's demand and a clear path to developing a game with new features that can even create more demand, its licensing revenue for Rick at Matt. You'd just have to get CGC (or another MFG) on board (in addition to a couple other signatures). Though it'd take a lot of work for it to match CCC's feature set.
