I’m looking for a little advice here. I’ve finally decided to part with my CCC that I have owned since about 2005. It plays well, but the cabinet has been touched up. It looks pretty decent, but close inspection reveals hand-painted areas on the front and sides. Decals aren’t that expensive, but actually installing them without creating crinkles and bubbles will be a challenge for a ham fisted fucktard like me. Will it be worth the effort to go with the new decals or should I sell it as is?

Sell as is, I doubt the expense and effort will be recovered. Just accurately describe the problems and show pictures.

Agreed. I bought my CC with a new set of decals from the previous owner. I decided not to replace the dacals because the originals looked pretty good so I sold off the decal set to someone that really neede them. I am glad I did.
