Quoted from chocky909:So I watched Keith Elwins Pinball 102 video on CC and stacking Gold Mine with Showdown Multiballs and tried to replicate it on my clubs CCC but it didn't do what it does in Keith's vid.
Basically after the 4th drop popped up, I started Goldmine, then hit the drop down which starts Showdown and all 4 drops popped up. However when I hit them all down they stayed down, no add a ball and that was it! The four bandits on the display were there as if I hadn't hit them. Stayed like that til Goldmine finished.
So, what's going on? Is this Continued closing that multiball stack cheat or a bug or something wrong with this table?
Well, for one, none of the original Cactus Canyon code is in CCC. I wrote it from scratch.
As for what's going on in that very particular set of circumstances, I'd have to test it myself and review the code. Because I use the targets in the updated gold mine multiball as 'bandits' I don't think I was planning for allowing the 2 to stack, but I also don't think I have any catch in for the situation you're describing, so it tries to start, and then things get weird because of how the target handling works during multiball.
