    On my machines when I fold the head down (forward) the two large cable channels are being dragged up/out from the cabinet. If you have cable slack inside the cabinet it will probably be ok, but it it's already really short "all the way" to the playfield, this will be a problem. Also, stretching the cables will put more stress on the connectors and if the cables are the normal "pushed into connector" type they might fall out or snap.

    If its only single connector that has short cables then I suggest you make an extension cable and use those double-sided male/male connectors (dunno their name) to simply connect the two cables. Example: https://www.pinballlife.com/6-pin-malemale-z-connector.html
