Are you saying we should seal the wood before applying primer before painting the cabinet? So the wood grain does not raise?
Same for cabinet decals? I see people applying decal right over top bare wood all the time. Thanks!

If I'm going to give a coat of gloss or semi-gloss clear over my restored painted Pinbot, should I used low gross paint to give more teeth for the clear to bite?
Quoted from vid1900:You can squirt glue under it and then clamp tightly overnight, or cut out the loose layer with a razor and bondo.
This is what I found underneath the split. Hollow void. And yes, Bondo, sand and prime all over gain
Should I clear the cabinet one side at the time facing up or it's OK to clear with the pin standing normal with the sides up?
Quoted from vid1900:If you have ever painted a car, you can do the whole pin at once.
Lol, no I never did.
Quoted from BJM-Maxx:I find spraying a single side at a time requires masking of the other sides. No matter what some spray gets on adjacent sides. It will still turn out well but over spray onto an already completed face requires wet sanding and buffing to correct rather than spraying everything while it is all still wet.
That's what I'm thinking and do the whole cabinet at once. Masking is a pain sometimes.
Does clear dry faster than paint? Because the overspray on the sides gives a different finish especially if the paint as already dried up.
