Vid had posted a great guide to this on pinside (just search for it....)

I've fixed several cabinets. Missing chunks, delaminated wood, rot, and etc.....
When used correctly, you can't beat bondo.
Color matching, again check Vid's guides....He is one of the best to ask in the community.

Look at a few pics online of Data East Machines (playfield pictures). My DE SW someone had moved them. Once you see pics, chances are you can located the original holes on the playfield. I'm betting $$$, these holes are stripped/messed up. Mine had missing wood, I spent hours fixing and actually re-enforcing the area.

These POS were know to pull away. It's only two shallow screws holding them in. Someone has improved these, having them connect with 4 screws. (think it was Mantis Amusements; and sold on Marcos..). Stupid expensive, but much better then the original setup.

If you need a few pics, I could snap a few tonight.
