Hey guys, wondering if I should choose metal or polyproylene for my STTNG which I believe is a decal cab.

Pinball life description of the poly's says use metal protectors for decal cabs... Can anyone second that?

You can't go wrong with the metal ones - get 'em!

I recommend these thicker metal protectors for decaled cabs. The pinballlife metal protectors aren't thick enough if some newer legs are used.

Thanks. I'm gunna stick with Pinball life, as these legs are OEM for my STTNG. THANKS

Those metal ones worked perfectly on my Strikes and Spares. They did not work for my F14 and the legs dug into my new sideart. Wish I would have known about the thicker ones at the time.

Wait, are you supposed to use both? the metal and then the poly? Double up?

If you go with Mantis you don't need to double up as they are thicker. If you go with the Pinball life ones I would double up or use felt on top of the metal to give you some extra space away from the cabinet.

I didn’t know those existed, very cool, thank you.

I didn’t realise the legs could still dig in to the cabinet with the ones that come fitted from Stern on NIB games and the ones from pinball life.
