Do they fade as bad as old B/W? Just curious.

No. Granted they aren't as old as 90's WMS, but all signs suggest they won't fade nearly as badly as many of the WMS did. I can count on one hand the number of slightly faded Stern's I've seen. There's a location near me (in sunny Sunnyvale no less) where the end game gets sunlight most of the day through floor to ceiling windows. They don't fade. Whatever the hell they make them with, it works.
Sadly, they do get flipper button wear much quicker though. Side armor will cover that.
